Compared to my last 3D printed, an Anet A8, this Ender 3 S1 is simply night and day. The product construction quality is excellent and it assembles very quickly and easily.My only complaints have to do with the setup instructions (for example, they don't actually say to preheat the print bed before doing the leveling -- I did not and it made my first efforts to print very frustrating) and also the software. Evidently, the installed software was not the latest version, yet the latest version caused some issues. For example, the feature whereby the machine pauses if you run out of filament did not work with the installed software. I'm not an expert -- but I know one -- a retired USAF systems engineer and satellite launch consultant who actually got me into 3D printing. It took him half a day to unravel these issues, several of which were only figured out with the assistance of some posts on (of all things) youtube. All that said -- now that it's figured out, I couldn't be happier with the machine -- it's just terrific and I look forward to years of happy 3D printing.

I am new to 3d printing and was looking for something on the cheaper side to play around with. I found this printer to be easy to set up and fast to begin printing. But I did struggle to get my PLA filament to stick with the stock hot plate. I am still unable to get the stock set up to print anything crazy, just a block. I finally purchased a glass plate and this made the world of difference. Now the filament sticks for the entire duration and my bottom layers are coming out great. I don't know why but the factory setup is a failure, a few adjustments are required to get this printer going.

Once I received my printer there were some things that made me think it might have been a used to refurbished item, so I contacted Creality support.They let me know that it was a factory test and helped me ensure the printer was good. They were very responsive and pleasant to talk to.The printer is working perfectly and I have already planned out an endless backlog of projects. I couldn't recommend this printer more!

I have the Ender 3 V2 Neo and loved it. Was looking for a new upgrade for it and saw the S1 models. They share some parts and similarity to the Ender 3 V2 Neo so I picked this one up. Gotta say. First print I am putting it through is coming out nice! The model isn't complicated but it does put the printer through a marathon. The print is estimated to be completed in over 12 hours. So the first print is a long one. I have the printer in a thermal cover to keep the models from warping when hit by different temperature air in the room. The cover has RGB LED lights installed inside which give the different hue of colors seen.

Prodotto di buona qualità, si possono sentire con mano tutti i componenti da montare, si può sentire la qualità del prodotto con mano.Molto semplice il montaggio (libretto delle istruzioni chiaro), mi ha occupato circa 40 minuti.Ho voluto controllare a comparatore se effettivamente era tutto in squadro, ed era effettivamente così.Ho avuto un problema con il sensore di finecorsa dell'asse Z, era molto variabile, ciò causava una adesione errata sul piatto.Ho trovato il problema, provando a sostituire un finecorsa degli altri assi con quello dell'asse Z, infatti il problema su quell'asse era sparito, ho deciso quindi di sostituire il sensore di finecorsa dell'asse Z con uno più performante.Parametri standard per stampa PLA in estate (stanza non raffreddata):Temperatura ugello: 210°Temperatura piatto: 60°Adesione: 3 linee di BRIMRisultati perfetti, anche su lunghe stampe.Parametri standard per stampa PETG in estate (stanza non raffreddata):Temperatura ugello: 250°Temperatura piatto: 65°Adesione: 3 linee di BRIMRisultati ottimi, fa parecchia adesione, anche troppa.Nel complesso, rapporto qualità prezzo molto vantaggiosa.Consigliatissima

I bought this Ender S1 based on YouTube videos saying it was the best ever 3d printer. Easy to put together, biggest bang for my buck. Paid $400 direct from Creality thinking I would get great TECH support if needed. Right off the bat, the direction are so tiny, I had to turn to YouTube for a visual. Auto leveling was more complicated than the claim. But once altogether, my machine would NOT read the card reader. Mind you, it is NOT a micro SD card. I don't know what you call it. But you need to put the micro card in the reader and use it that way. Cura does NOT have Ender S1 on its list so you must use the Creality slicer, I suppose...no one tells you that....again, I will have to search YouTube for answers. So here I sit...paid $400 for a 3d printer that doesn't work because of a card reader. Maybe I should become a YouTuber and get good ones sent to me for free.

Phenomenal for the price. It’s hard to make it any easier to learn 3D printing. I bought knowing nothing, and haven’t had much trouble. I will say the build plate is crazy sticky I switched mine for the older ender 3 pro version

This printer is amazing for the price and is a great starting machine. I’ve been having a blast printing and then painting (I’m not a painter so it’s not the best lol) my prints. I definitely had to do a lot of research along the way to figure out 3D printing. I even put this printer through the 3Dbenchy torture-test and it came out absolutely perfect!

Il montaggio per gli utenti non esperti non è molto semplice. Anche la regolazione del piatto richiede del tempo ma dopo fatto ciò le prestazioni sono molto buone. I materiali sono ottimi,il piatto è in vetro e la struttura in alluminio verniciato. Ha addirittura un cassetto per riporre tutti gli utensili.La qualità di stampa è buona.

Appena arrivata e montata, le stampe erano disastrose e non capivo il perché. Ho scoperto che la parte pre assemblata era fuori quadratura ed il tubo in teflon nell'estrusore non era perfettamente in sede (mancavano 5 mm (!)). Ho ricontrollato tutte le geometrie, invertito l'asse y che presentava dei solchi sulla guida e fissato bene il tubo in teflon. Dopo di che la stampante è sempre andata bene. Attenzione a livellare perfettamente il piano per garantire l'adesione dei pezzi.Dato il costo, la qualità di stampa è eccelsa. Utilizzo filo SUNLO.Stampante consigliata sicuramente. All'inizio armatevi di pazienza per la messa a punto

TL;DR - Buy this printer. You'll spend more upgrading lower end Ender printers...and it will end up costing about the same or slightly more than just buying the S1.Ive owned a Creality Ender 3 Pro for a couple of years and spent tons of time and a bunch of upgrades trying to get it to print consistently and print well. I can tell you it still has issues and still needs to be tinkered with constantly to print anything halfway decent. I love to tinker, but I also like to have prints be successful and not waste time, electricity, and filament....Enter the Ender 3 S1. Could not be more of a night and day difference between the two printers. This one prints easily, quickly, no print issues, no adhesion issues, no line issues, no extrusion issues, nothing....it just prints...and prints very well.I have had zero issues so far....and it has been running almost nonstop since it arrived. The big yarn bowl was a 24hr print....again no issues at all.
