Polarity wasn't obvious. Both leads were black. Used ohm meter to determine neutral and hot. Otherwise, good quality.

This is a okay kit for the job. The cord is heavy duty and well made. Kit comes with all you need to put it to use, well except for the included electrical tape. As you can see from the pictures, the tape looks like it sat on something in the sun and melted into a mess.Okay for the price, would recommend on that.
