Excellent fix for my leaky Badger 1 disposal drain port. My leak was around the gasket that sealed the Badger’s disposal pipe to the Badger 1. This kit provides a better made seal as the flange of the Badger’s disposal pipe fits into a groove within the gasket. The gasket is thicker than the original one and longer screws are provided to secure it along with the disposal pipe. This was an easy fix that worked well and costs little. Highly recommended!

I swapped out a garbage disposal for a new one from another brand. Plugged it all together, threw the old one in the trash, and soon discovered LEAKS... yep, the new one, using the exact same hose and fittings, was now leaking. Turned out the new one needed the gasket in this kit, whereas the old one didn't. And I'd already thrown the stuff out. But this Danco kit was exactly what I needed, cost practically nothing, and Amazon got it here pronto, and it totally sealed up all the leaks. Five stars to everyone involved in making this happen!
