the flange comes boxed and is overall lightweight. it’s measurements are standard for most garbage disposals and this does not come with a stopper or baffle.the brushed steel surface of the top of the flange is done in a light concentric pattern. while this looked okay, I didn’t think the brushed appearance would last when used in a kitchen sink. the flange itself was very thin overall, so it is not considered appropriate for medium duty use in my opinion. my old original flange that came with the garbage disposal was significantly thicker onthe top surface by at least 3x. the remaining body of this flange seems half as thick as the older flange I was replacing. I don’t understand why newer things have to be so flimsy thin and cheap a tin can. while garbage disposals are not as heavy as they used to be, they still have some weight to them which can cause some vibrations with metal so lightweight.this just doesn’t seem to be a good fit when mated with even a light duty garbage disposal. I do not recommend this product unless your kitchen sink is rarely used.
