I had to open the control box and found one wire was not connected. Easy fix but obviously no quality control. Works great otherwise.

This wireless switch is a Godsend! My electrician suggested an air switch for my disposal rather than a switch inside the cabinet (my sink is in an island). It is definitely more convenient but began to have issues after 2 years. My plumbing and electrical are tucked within a small space that is a pain in the neck to access and the fixes were lasting shorter and shorter periods of time.I plugged this baby into the spot once occupied by the air switch, the button is unseen on back side of my copper sink apron and BAM!! No fuss, no muss, works like a charm!!

My old one was 8 years old and unsure who made it but was on it's last legs. Would have to mash the button all the way down and sometimes twice before working. Went to Lowes and found a replacement for $105. Got this one instead and it is easy to install and works with a light push at a fraction of the cost.

This comes packaged nicely and depending on which color you choose, (we accidentally ordered the white one the first time and it came in a plastic container without a protective film over the button) they take the time to even put a protective cover over the nickel plated button to keep it from getting scratched. If you're not familiar with installing this switch, this does come with instructions, but you can find MUCH better guidance and directions on YouTube with easy to follow walk through tutorials. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is I wish this cord was just a little bit longer. Overall, great product. We ended up placing the button right where the soap dispenser hole on the sink is along with a silicone cover and it works GREAT!

Not a difficult installation at all, my only issue was being able to fit ME under the sink to reach stuff. I took the bottom ring off the button assembly, so it could install in my sink hole (for soap, we never use), then connected the air hose to it and then attached the other end of the hose to the main unit.I got the model with a spare outlet, one that is NOT controlled by the air switch- if you do as well, look carefully at the info drawings in the papers that come with it so you know which is which! Very handy if like me you are running a dishwasher and a disposal on the same outlet. On the unit the two plugs were marked A & B, but papers did not have similar labels so I had to look at drawings and which side of unit the wire & hose connect to, to know that.Cord is a bit short (less than 2ft) so measure that when picking a spot to install it, so it reaches. Hose was black rubber type material and connected easily and securely. The opening between cord and hose on top is narrow, so I was not able to use a power drill to put top screw in to mount it inside cabinet- but a manual screwdriver was fine with drilled starter holes.I swapped out the provided screws with shorter ones because the ones that come with this were an inch long (with plastic anchors) and we were concerned that might go entirely through the cabinet wall and I didn’t want to mess with the dishwasher on the other side. A sticky clear plastic hook was also provided as mounting option, but I felt screws were better. When using this button, I push one time to turn on disposal, and push again to turn off. Works great.Tighten the button assemble snugly to prevent leaks, or if prone to splashing maybe add a little clear caulk. We didn’t need it.PS- local hardware stores charge at least a hundred for these, so definitely a good deal!

This is a very easy install. I did not have the tools to drill a 1" hole through the granite counter top so I strapped it in the fold drawer out by the sink. It works perfectly, push once for on, push again for off. So safe and convenient, no more walking and reaching for the switch. As you can see it's a very easy install for the electrical part. 2 screws and plug it in.
