Why break a bone now, these are cheap and effective, if they break I’m sure I can fix them with some wire and stay on my feet vs on my behind.

I got these for my husband because he was going to go on a hike in Colorado. Unfortunately, the weather was too dangerous for him and his fellow hikers (too early in the season), so these were not used until a couple of weeks ago. We're in Oklahoma where all we ever get is ice. We have 'snow' a few weeks ago that melted and turned into ice. At the time this happened, I lived within a 5 minute walk of work. He reminded me we had these and oh my freaking gosh. I cannot tell you how confident I was walking to work. Obviously, they worked great in the icy grass, but even on the concrete they were fantastic. I tried to avoid concrete-walking as much as possible just because I was afraid they might get dull or bent. I felt insanely safe on my walk to work. As a matter of fact, my coworker loved them so much he bought a pair! I will definitely buy these again when we need another pair.

J'ai essayé d'autres modèles de crampons, mais ceux-ci sont de bien meilleure qualité. J'en ai racheté une 3e paire pour donner en cadeau. Je sais que ça plaira.

These came just in time for a freezing rain/snow dump on Friday the 13th. These work like a pair I had years ago. I can walk safely on icy driveway or parking lots.

These spikes are perfect for when I traverse those slippery rocks at the Sebastian Inlet catwalk. Those boulders are deadly slippery during the fall/winter months. Many people have slipped and get bad hurt. These spikes worn over my boots have saved me from slipping so many times. They are more durable than the other ones that I have also purchased on here. I think these guys designed these slip on spikes just right.

Great crampons, fit my boot well, doesn’t get loose at the descent. True to the size.

My mother got a pair of these for my grandfather for Christmas since the Christmas before he fell on the ice covering the road to our house. It can get very slippery during the winter and that is dangerous for my 77 year old grandfather. Unfortunately the road we live on also have others that have to go up a hill past our own driveway. Sometime the lose traction and slid around so we go and help them out. A truck towing a trailer with around 1,000 lbs of wood got stuck and I put on my grandfather's ice cleats to go help. The conditions were so bad that without these new cleats I wouldn't have gone out. And it was bad enough that my grandfather wouldn't go out even with cleats. After helping the guy out with others I went back to my grandfather's home and because of how amazing the cleats worked I got on my phone and immediately brought myself a pair. Of course since I ordered them the ice has melted but just having them is good. They worked amazingly and if anyone has taken the time to read this essay a review them for their price I absolutely recommend having some of these. Just make sure you get the correct size. That was a problem we had with an old pair of cleats from some local store we bought. We tossed those old ones in the trash after getting these ones.

I wasn't sure what size to get and the reviews I read never mentioned shoe size. I wear an 8.5 in Mens and my shoe size is on the cusp of M & L for these crampons. So, I bought both sizes and tried them at home before my trip. Some of the chain links on the Large crampons were a loose on my Keen 8.5 hiking shoes. The Medium size crampons fit great. They're fun to wear on the trail. I wore these crampons while hiking up and down the Grand Canyon. I heard the crunch of the spikes digging in to the ice. I confidently walked by the people who came ill-prepared. Some of those trails have steep drop-offs. I couldn't imagine walking the icy parts without these. They are definitely worth the price and they fold up into a supplied small zippered pouch that is approx 7" x 5"

These crampons work extremely well on snow covered ice. Have not yet tried them on black ice. They have very sturdy spikes and promote high confidence walking on snowy/icy trails. Not for use on hard surfaces such as concrete. My only complaint Is that they are a very tight fit and difficult to put on the boot. I could barely get a pair of XLs on my 11 1/2 boot.

There is a layer of ice and snow in my town, like many others have. I am an avid walker and was afraid of falling on ice and breaking a leg. These were pretty inexpensive so I decided to try them. They are great! I can walk on ice without falling, and they stay on my hiking boots. I have walked 4-5 miles in these and never had them come off of my shoe! My neighbors are envious of these great inventions. I love these and also hike, I think they would work well in mud and on hills also. Try these. They are great! They fit true to size for me. I wear a ladies 10 and got large, I was afraid they would be too small, but their size is perfect. It does take a bit of effort to put these on and also to take them off, but it's worth it and like I said, THEY STAY ON MY SHOE! I love, love, love these!
