These belong in any locale that gets snow or ice. For not much more than a cup of coffee and a donut you get something that really is a life saver. Appreciate being able to put these on my shoes before I put my shoes on. They they fit everyone in my family true to size.

My son broke these out for 1/2" of ice topped by 8" of snow and then another 1/4" of ice. Never slipped once. The spikes are short, but definitely steel - don't let anyone where them inside - hardwood, carpet, LVP and vinyl flooring will all be decimated.

Safety is the number one priority when there is snow or ice on the ground. You just never know when a spill might happen so wearing ice cleats is a must.Already have one set from Costco that works quite well, these aren't much of a drop off and provide good traction when we have to clear the sidewalks and driveways of ice and snow. They fit snugly and stay on throughout the duration of whatever we are doing. The only gripe is that these are much more challenging to get onto a set of large shoes or boost. There is just a lot of tension which can be a good thing because it helps stay attached. The reflective material in the heel for extra visibility at night is also a nice touch.

Fit well over boots, made it easier and safer to walk on snow packed and icy sidewalks and urban hiking paths. Good value for money.

I spend a lot of time walking /running on backwoods trails. The trails are just compacted dirt and rocks however, after a snowfall and a quick melt, the trails wind up with many icy patches that can really ruin you day if your foot comes down on a small patch of ice. These cleats do a great job of preventing a fall or worse. They are very easy to put on/take off and offer a more sure footing. My only concern is that I have noticed that the "nubs" on the cleats appear to be wearing down sooner that I had expected. Your mileage may vary depending on the environment.
