These would work great in wood, but they aren't good for stainless steel. They grooved right away.Not sure how they would be for a softer metal.I was probably using them wrong, but I thought the HSS would be strong enough for my project.

The counter sink component works nicely on wood, but the drill frequently loosens even when tightened significantly. That part of the design could and should be better.

These are great quality, very well machined, I have used on various materials, metal and wood, and they just work great. Good range of sizes in the nice case with foam insert to keep them in place.

These are so much better than the ones I bought from Harbor Freight. They countersink anything. I've used them on a variety of materials with only minor usage on metal. The odd thing is that it can make a hexagonal countersink. But if I run it longer and slowly apply pressure it seems to be more round.

As a professional we have used lots tools. This set is the best we have. The finished product is very clean as you see in picture is what you get. This brand is different from others. The tip is 82 Degree it hugs and covers head of the screws very well.
