Nice tools. I didn’t realize they came with brad point drill bits. Nice touch.

The CS part has to be tightened very tight so it won't loosen. The included drills are fair at best. I'm a tool maker and maint lead and i have never seen a drill bend. drills break and get dull but they should not bend. I will use the CS on other drills in my collection. But for the cost i guess one can't get to upset.

Haven't had a chance to use these, but overall look very good. Should work very well when I need to use them.

For me these worked perfectly. The two holes at the bottom are using this and they turned out great. The top hole is using a different product and as you can see there’s a big difference. Would definitely recommend if you need some countersink holes!

Having a drill and countersink bit together is convenient: but I find that the countersink component of these bits can slip without too much pressure. Also, with a separate countersink you can always tilt the drill to aid the cutting, but that's not an option when it's all one. Good enough for working with relatively soft woods.

I got these for a basement bar remodel project with the intent that all I wanted was to get through this one project. They were more than adequate for that. However, the countersink cutter keeps coming loose from the drill bit and needs to be secured in place before getting a good countersink. They're inexpensive but the bits and cutters are sharp. Will they tackle a big project? Remains to be seen but I've been using them are other projects and they're still going strong.

I am new to woodworking and I didn’t really want to spend too much money until I could decide if it was a hobby for me. I purchased these and they worked great for the first couple of projects. Once I started to change the depths of the countersink it seemed that I could not get them tight enough to not spin on the drill bit. They may not have been meant to be moved, but then why send the Allen wrench to do so? In short they worked good until they needed to be adjusted.

Not what I wanted but they would work if the bits were not bent. Would not buy again.

I am a novice at woodworking. I bought the 7-bit set to drill countersink holes to install metal inserts on a walnut desktop. Before I drilled on my project for real, I tested the 8mm and 10mm bits on unfinished soft wood boards. I got the best result with the drill set to "mode 2" (higher max speed), torque set at the "drill" position, and used a piece of blue tape on the drill area to reduce split. I had no trouble centering the bit. The hole and countersink came out very clean with the blue tape method. For my hardwood desk project, I used these same bits and drill settings. I did not use the blue tape because the desk surface is finished and unlikely to split. Centering was very easy and the countersink holes came out very clean. I felt that drilling the hardwood was much cleaner and easier than drilling the soft wood.Overall, I am very happy with the 7-bit set. For someone like me who will use them infrequently, the value is unbeatable.

The three pointed bits are sharp and stay where you start them. These bits cut through wood very nicely. The countersink flutes are not aggressive so it is easy to control the countersink depths. All in all I think the quality is very good.Like several other reviewers I have broken the two smallest bits (3&4 mm) while using them in my handheld drill. It is likely that the breaks resulted from poor drill angle control during countersinking operations. I suspect the bits would have lasted fine if they had been used in a drill press. The two smallest drill bits are 3 & 4 mm which are pretty fine and present a challenge in handheld drilling, particularly during countersinking where you are boring a very large diameter hole. You should note that the sizes are metric and the metric bits cannot be readily replaced by fractional inch bits as the rear hole in the countersink fits the drill shaft snugly and an undersized drill bit will be bent under the necessary torquing of the countersink to the bit.
