This baby is performing like a champ. Gorgeous and great value for the money. The start, stop, open and close buttons layout could take some getting use; but I'm satisfied.I'd buy again.

BUYER BEWARE: This product is looks great and functioned well at first but just shy of 3 years of mild usage (mostly to heat water for tea, make popcorn, and heat the occassional left over) the internal finish wore off on the back corner where the drawer roller slides, causing the unit to spark when used. The metal underneath the finish was exposed due to poor product quality. This created not only a dangerous situation but also a fire hazzard. This company only offers a 1 year warranty and when I contacted them about this problem they told me to hire a professional. This lesson was learned the hard way. Do not buy products from companies who do not stand behind the qaulity of the manufacturing of their product.

Had this for almost 2 years and there is a clear design flaw. The drawer has rollers that don't roll due to a cheap plastic roller with pin sitting on poorly aligned, bent stamped sheet metal. This leads to rubbing off the special paint used for microwave cavities. That leads to sparks and arcing that leads to fire. DO NOT BUY! I've contacted Cosmo and they decided to offer me 15 percent of repair parts. Not OK given the entire interior would need replacement but an appliance repair center of their choosing. All great, but doesn't address the root cause and is inevitably setting me up for the same fire risk later on.

Installed 3 weeks ago, so far it has preformed well. Seems to heat just as well as my last unit which was a 30" Sharp. Seems like everything is made in China, hoping to get another 13 years of good use .

Very nice unit for the price. Available w or w/out a handle for an even more flushed/sleek look. Heats food items very well. Seems very well constructed. Easy to reach in and out of the unit when mounted under the counter. Leaves a nice space available over the stove/range to add a custom vent hood. Keeps the area over the stove from looking cluttered or heavy. Nice not having a full size, OTR microwave in your face while standing at the stove. Great accessibility if you have younger kiddos. They do not have to climb over the stove to use the microwave. Added safety built right in due to mounting under the counter.

Remodeled our kitchen and decided to go with a drawer microwave instead of another over-the-range unit and I'm really happy with this one so far.Only been using it a few weeks not and it's been great except for one odd incident and I'm not sure what to make of it. I put about 1/4 cup of frozen mixed vegetables in a single layer on a microwave safe plate and set the timer to 1:23 at 40% power. After about 20 seconds I heard an odd audible change in the power followed by a small popping sound. Looked in the microwave while it was running and a carrot cube sparked and popped! Then a frozen green bean did the same thing!! Not sure what that was all about but I stopped the microwave and removed the plate. Nothing like has happened since but I haven't tried heating frozen vegetables that way either. Mixed in with chicken, rice the vegetables from the same bag the same thing didn't happen. Apparently my microwave is a toddler and doesn't like vegetables unless you disguise them inside of something else.

Microwave has a nice look and seemed like a good deal (still expensive, but compared to other drawer microwaves). Only feature it was missing was some sort of "lock" to keep kids out.My problems were present from the first day - it made a clunking sound when it opened and closed. It didn't bother me much so I decided to just get used to it. 9 months after installing it, it started sparking inside and now can't be used at all.My initial communication with Cosmo support over chat was quick. Once we switched from chat to email I would get responses every 2-4 business days. They did a little troubleshooting over email, and then I was sent a invoice for $150 for shipping labels to send to their repair facility. I had some questions about packaging, what I could have done differently, if there was anything I could fix on my end but none of them were answered. At this point, they're not responding to me at all.I understand now that the warranty doesn't include return shipping, but for a $1000 microwave I would expect some better quality control. I've never had a microwave just break on me, and don't feel like I should have to spend $150 + whatever it costs to package the thing for them to fix something that will probably break again in 9 months.Pick a microwave that at least has a decent warrantyUpdate: I bit the bullet and paid for the shipping label. It took just under a month from when FedEx picked to when the delivery company delivered it - most of this time was the delivery company. They sent me a different microwave, which was good because it is much quieter when opening and closing. The refurb microwave works well. I'll update if it breaks again. In my original review I also said it didn't have a child lock feature. That was incorrect - it does - but it's not very useful. It turns off the open/close buttons but if you lightly pull/push on the handle it will continue to open/close just like in normal operation.Update 02/15/25Refurb microwave doing the same thing (arcing) on the opposite side now. Let's see if Cosmo does anything.I've also updated the review to 1 star. Don't buy this thing.
