Far from accurate and suction cups horrible. Sorry I hate to leave bad reviews and was hoping this item would be great but after confirming my salinity with a Milwaukee ma887 digital refractometer and a handheld refractometer this this was way off. Also packaging damaged during shipping.

I replaced the suction cups with better ones, followed the instructions with making sure it was level, and now works great! 3 stars just because of the suction cup issue, but semi expected with the reviews

The suction cups don't hold well. It slides down the side of the tank and then falls. Even when straight the readings were usually inaccurate.

Works fine, does the job. However the suction cups are garbage, it doesn’t stay stuck on my glass for more than 30 minutes. Every time I leave to do something I come back and it’s at the bottom of my tank. Other than that, great product

I bought this thing and threw it away three days later. It does not stick to the tank. I tried everything. If it is anywhere near the flow of water, the results are inaccurate. Not worth your money, time or frustration.
