  • 5-In-1 Saltwater Aquarium Test Kit for Fish Lover: To raise fish, you must first raise water quality. It is very necessary to regularly test the water quality of the aquarium.GIDIGI fish tank tester can detect salinity, pH, EC, TDS and TEMP at one time, helping you to keep track of slight changes in water quality at any time and provide a stable growth environment for fish.Whether it is a saltwater/freshwater fish tank, pond or aquaculture, this tester is an excellent solution
  • Simultaneous Display Salinity Multiparamete for Aquarium:Compared with ordinary testers, GIDIGI salinity meter has upgraded high-definition LCD backlight screen, the screen area is increased by 30%, this upgraded multifunctional water testing kit integrates pH and temperature with Salt TDS and EC readings on a single screen, simplifies the mode switching steps and makes operation easier.Portable pH and salt monitor for aquarium beginner
  • Accurate Fish Tank Thermometer with Longer Sensor Probe: No more complicated color matching to determine the result. With this electronic pH meter, just put it in the water and wait a few seconds to get the precise digital value. The salt tester with automatic temperature compensation(ATC) can output stable results for each test.Measure your aquarium regularly to keep your beloved fish, shrimp, coral reefs and other aquatic life healthy and happy
  • Marine Aquarium Water Test Kit with 35PPT Calibration Solution & pH Calibration:The salinity of seawater fish tanks is usually controlled between 32-35 PPT (3.2% to 3.5%), so we provide a nearby calibration point(56.2mS/cm,35 PPT)in order to maintain the measurement accuracy of the salinity meter. And we also offer a pH calibration powder that allows you to more accurately control the pH of your aquarium
  • Salt pH EC PPM Reader Widely Application:It also aids hydroponic system cultivation by accurately detecting the pH, EC, and PPM of nutrient solutions, ensuring optimal nutrient absorption for plants. This GIDIGI multi-parameter tester is ideal for monitoring pH and salinity levels in swimming pools. You can also use it to measure drinking water, spring water, SPA, home brewing and other scenarios

This tester does the job. I don't have the option to check the accuracy of the tester, but seems to be working well while testing my tap water and distilled water from my water distiller.

This meter is easy to use and provides quick, accurate readings. The ability to measure multiple parameters at once is convenient for maintaining water quality. The display is clear, and calibration is straightforward. A great tool for anyone managing a saltwater or freshwater setup.

If you’re not familiar with the type of tests this does and what the results mean, it isn’t self explanatory. But between my experience with testing pool water and my grandson’s testing the fresh water aquarium he keeps, we have muddled through using it. The case it comes with is convenient. It seems to to get accurate results when comparing it to the physical test strips and other testing kits we have. It’s actually really convenient being able to use the one tool for different needs. The list price seems in range with similar products and I think for the benefits it’s well worth it.

Not accurate at all with salinity even after multiple calibrations with included calibration fluid. Just get a refractometer and save yourself the headache. At least the temperature is accurate I guess that's a plus.

It is so convenient to be able to get my pH, temperature and salinity readings in an instant. The digital display is easy to read. No test tubes or reagents to mess with.

This is a nice little meter. This is a combination pH and TDS meter. It measures temperature too, but we don’t use it. It’s a good value. There’s a whole class of these meters that are either identical, or functionally identical (including buttons and calibrations, etc.) but packaged differently. These gauges all seem to come out of the box well calibrated (or well enough for us). We check them against a calibrated meter. We’re looking for +/- 0.1 pH, and +/-10% on PPM. We’ve bought a lot of these meters, and except for a broken one, we’ve never had one that wasn’t within that spec.If you keep the glass bulb wet (put the cover on it when it’s wet and it will stay wet) the pH will be acceptable. If you let it dry out, you’ll need to recalibrate it. Follow the instructions. You’ll need to mix pH powders with distilled or RO water to make the calibration test solutions. The TDS(PPM) solution is premixed - make sure you keep the lid on TIGHT. If it dries out at all it won’t be valid anymore. We build grow rooms, and every one includes a meter like this. It’s a good value. The build quality is good. It is totally waterproof. It includes the necessary test and calibration solutions and mixes. It includes the batteries. It comes in a box that is sort of a case you can keep all the stuff in. The instructions are pretty good, and they’re on a laminated sheet that won’t get soaked in a wet grow room. It comes out of the box calibrated (we test every one we buy). This gets 5 Stars

This specific meter is marketed for salt-water aquarium use but of course it can be used for hydroponics, pools, food, condensate alkalizer testing, etc. It has been factory calibrated. It comes with: 56.2 mS/cm calibration solution, three packets of buffer powder for making pH calibration solutions (4.0 ,7.0 ,10.01), and a nice laminated instruction card. The probe end appears to have a pH glass electrode, two electrical conductivity electrodes, and a temperature transducer all extending the same distance from the probe. The cap has a nice O ring and a sponge to keep the glass electrode wet.The EC (electrical conductivity) gets measured directly and mathematically converted to Salt ppm and TDS ppm. EC can be re-calibrated with the included solution.Temperature gets measured directly and displayed as F or C.pH gets measured directly. Re-calibration can be done using 1, 2, or 3 data points. 7.0 always needs to be done first. If doing three points, the calibration sequence is 7.0, 4.0, 10.0.I tested customer service via the e-mail on the laminated card. I asked about what solution they suggest for keeping the pH electrode wet during storage and what conversion factor is used between EC and TDS. I will update the review when I receive a response. (Often, pH electrodes are kept wet with a KCL solution of either 7 or 4 pH and of 1M to 3M concentration. Often the EC -> TDS formula used in hydroponics is "442 conversion" based on a mix of 4 parts NaSO4, 4 parts NaHCO3, 2 parts NaCl. EC -> TDS for 442 is roughly x 0.7, for "NaCL" it is about x 0.5, for "KCL method" is about x 0.55)Reliable lab meters like this used to cost hundreds and require a lot of care. It's nice to be able to afford to have several of these and keep them near to where they are needed. Proper care of the pH probe is required to maintain accuracy. If you use them a lot, it is becomes economical to mix your own calibration solutions.
