The taps is a bit hard to manage as it crinkles easily and can get away from you as to try to put down an even strip. On the other hand you can solder on this copper tape using it as a buss and the glue does not separate. I have used it as a buss on several projects. Put a strip on a chassis and you have an easy to solder ground buss.

Used this tape to shim a 12 gauge shot gun bore sighter. The cylindrical device slides into the breach in place of a shotgun shell. But the one I bought was too loose. I wrapped two layers on each end of the cylinder and it took up the slack. The glue has held up well after using it five times.

Needed a shielded CAT6 for ether-con terminations. This stuff made it easy. Tested good and worked well!

I bought copper tape from my local craft store. It was allegedly for crafting. It was so incredibly hard to wrap anything- glass, stores, simple wire. So I bought this- the difference is night and day! This is thin, easy to wrap around small things like stones, beads and crystals. Above all else it is tacky enough to stay in place. Burnishing has also been very easy compared to my craft store purchase. Very happy!

I’ve purchased adhesive cooper foil from Amazon before, in the form of sheets, where a superior adhesive was used and I had absolutely no issues with. So I bought this product, expecting the tape from would be easier to work with. Wow, I was so wrong.First, the good points:Once laid out, it has excellent conductivity. Surprisingly (virtually none) low resistance for foil this thin and that was through the adhesive (prior to the application of heat). The copper is extremely pure so solder is drawn to it better than desoldering braid, so the first circuit I used it for was simple and quite successful.Bad points:The paper is too thick, making it extremely difficult to separate from the foil. Where separating it from the foil causes the foil to curl and adhere to itselfThe adhesive loses conductivity, adhesion and bubbles up once heated (which never happened withe the sheets) at the lowest temperature that high quality, lead/tin (Kester 63/34, very low melting point) solder will liquify and remain liquid until the connection is properly made. Like I stated earlier, the copper is extremely pure, so due to the thermal dynamics of pure copper, it draws the heat off of the solder, quickly hardening it, so slightly higher temperatures have to be used.I used it on 3 circuits. The first one was very simple, so the soldering wasn’t extensive and it made a beautiful circuit that looked great on the oscilloscope. The second circuit was a bit more complex and took some work to get it working and due to the adhesive’s loss in conductivity there was a lot of parasitic capacitance in the circuit, causing undesirable waveform distortion, in the form of noise. I blamed myself for that, thinking maybe I’d made a number of mistakes, so I made a third circuit that was also simple, but I experienced connection losses at the adhered joints, power wasn’t getting to its destinations and and a number of other issues. The breakdown:Copper’s great, but a little too thin. Adhesive’s horrible. This product is best suited for art’s and crafts. Thats if you can get it to adhere to the substrate before it curls up and adheres to itself because of the thick paper. The seller should remove any electrical use from the listing.

Great for paper circuits. Don't peel off all the backing one go or it will tangle but it's nice and easy to use otherwise I've got far too much left
