Online reviews have placed this as the best product for speed in composting. It is more expensive than other compost accelerators, so it really comes down to whether you need speed or economy.I started my new composter by using this and it did indeed seem to kick things into high gear. I had my first batch in about 3 weeks.

This stuff works fast in breaking down my compost rotating canisters. When I know I’m going to need my compost soon, I sprinkle it in, give it several spins with some water and it is completely broken down to black gold within a week.

This product didn't work for me. I don't know if I was doing it the right way who knows.

I have tried other similar products but this is one of the easiest to use and it's effective. It helps break down the compost in my rolling bin style compost, much faster. It's easy to just sprinkle it on and rotate.

Our Vita Keyhole Garden has 4 compost bins that were filling up quickly with kitchen and yard waste. Just sprinkled this stuff in each bin, followed The instructions for the kitchen bin and voilà, it's breaking it all down already! One week in! Easy to use! Ordering more.

We had lots of worms. It was a bit pricey for the amount but it worked.

Seems to work great! I started a new compost bin this summer and used this to jump start it. I was surprised at how well it worked!

We have two tumblers of compost that we neglected for a year. It's been four weeks and it is actually starting to look like compost again. What we did:The first time we actually sifted through and broke up any big chunks (there were a lot), then sprinkled the accelerator through a bucket at a time as we loaded it back in. We also thoroughly watered the compost in the tumbler, then spun it around. We did this multiple times until full again. Two weeks later we sprinkled some more through the compost and drenched it again, spinning as we went. At four weeks, it looks really good. I think we'll have dirt to sift through by the fall.I definitely recommend this.In terms of use - we ordered three packets for our two Costco tumblers (20 gallons each I think) but we have only give through one so far.
