Warning: I am rating these for juggling, not as throwing axes.I don’t throw axes; I juggle them. And these are great. Are they beefy and heavy? Oh yeah. Do they arrive sharp? Also, yes. Are the handles perfect? They’re a bit hard and the taper is harsh on the hand. I wrapped mine with some grip tape and they got much more pleasant.All that said: these are real axes. They’re great. They can take hits and drops. They look great. I would definitely buy them again.

Bought the axes one month ago for chopping wood and throwing for fun in my backyard. The blade is sharp enough and works well for chopping wood, and the axe has a solid weight and feels comfortable in hand. However, it's a little too dull for throwing purpose because I found it's hard to get it stick on the wooden target after throwing (may be I need more practice). But overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Got these axes for splitting firewood, and wow, they get the job done! Super sharp right out of the box and the weight feels just right—heavy enough to split but not too much to tire you out fast. Handles feel solid no slipping. If you need a solid, no-nonsense axe, this is it.

Bought these last week after going to our local throwing axe place and used them for the first time last night. I threw them about 50 times with no issues whatsoever. They stick nicely, easy to throw both 1 handed and 2. Even after a couple of bad throws, they were in the same shape as they arrived. Nothing loose or chipped or anything.The only negative I have is that I noticed in the pics of others, that their axes had 2 pins holding the head on, mine only had 1 and there were no other spare pins in the box. They really should be double pinned, but oh well, they did well for me last night. Will continue to throw with them. Just be aware that you may get a set that is only single pinned and no spare pins in the box.

Heavy monsters for throwing. Good for working out/exercise. Heads don't stick as well as other hatchets (will respect these guys enough to not name competition). Have to really throw very hard for them to stay stuck as they are overweight. Could work on slimming up blade profile some, but will probably just use other hatchets and keep these for a good workout.Seem to be well made and they took some effort to sand the handle down to make the heads fit, but if the handle was slightly smaller they wouldn't have had to remove a lot of wood under the head in the 1st place. Heavy lacquer on handles. May sand and oil them but I DO appreciate that they coated them and really brought out the wood grain.Nice hatchets for show, just not my style for throwing.

These are beautiful axes that are easy to throw. Great quality and weight. Only thing I didn't like was they didn't come with sheaths.

This throwing axe has a good weight to it and is easy to hold. It comes sharp and is useful for chopping wood. Ironically, it doesn't perform as well for throwing. After a few throws the head starts sliding down the handle a bit so maybe the handle isn't able to handle the impact from throwing.
