This axe is very handy to have when backpacking and is holding up well. The handle length is good and it is easily attached to my molle 70L backpack.

Seems to have good weight to balance, haven't used it yet. It looks sharp, hope it holds a good edge? I think with the stone they should send me for this review I should have no problems.

Just received my ax, I noticed straight away how heavy duty this thing really is! I love how it came with a nylon cover for the ax head and a rubber cover for the blade edge. It’s so well balanced in my hand. The rubber handle makes it easy to hold. With their offer of a free sharpening stone this ax will have years of use ahead.

Only rated due to sheath design. Hatchet itself seems to be of good quality. As far as molle attachment, there really isn’t one. Just a loop for a belt to pass through, so if you wanted to hang this on a bay, you need to use alternative methods. Also, you have to pull the sheath from the top down and it’s on there right. There is no, quick use when this thing is in the sheath. You would need to Un loop it from wherever it is, the fight the fabric down the head and the handle. Same for placing back in the sheath. Again, overall hatchet is fine but the sheath is portly designed in my opinion. And just a little nuance, there’s like 4 stickers on the plastic handle that when you pull them off, they tear. Had to take a razor blade and windex to get them off cleanly but not a big deal.

Sturdy design, lightweight with a nice protective sheath, albeit a little snug. It was slightly dull upon arrival and will need a little extra sharpening. Would be nice if it came with a sharpening stone. Overall good value and quality.

I was really impressed with the quality of this axe for the price. It is light yet sturdy. I will provide a more detailed update after I put it through some punishment.
