I love that this not only reads all the discs I need to view but it also gives more usb ports. It is a really great hub when traveling with a slim laptop. The bluray playing aspect is wonderful, I am very happy with this player.

This is a multi-format disk recorder that represents a good value. It reads and writes in many formats, CD, DVD and Blu-ray. I just wrote a 25GB Blu-ray data disk with no trouble using Toast on my Mac. It has an integrated USB cable that fits in the bottom of the drive. The cable has both USB-A and USB-C connectors, plus it comes with a separate USB to barrel connector for power. This cable is optional, just in case the USB connection is not able to provide enough power for the drive. The helpful documentation points out that to play back pre-recorded commercial Blu-ray video disks, additional software is needed that is not standard on computers (Windows, Mac or Linux). The drive has USB ports, and card slots for SD and microSD cards. The drive seems very well made. Overall, it works just as well as my more expensive Blu-ray recorder - in fact, it writes just a bit faster,

Wouldn't work in windows 11, and the manufacturer has no website or drivers available.

first the cord was only 10 inches long so i ordered a usb extender cord then after i got that the player paused every few mins and it was very annoying.

Cord is way too short to connect to pc. has to just hang in mid air. support is a sketchy basic site in Japanese, even after using the translator, the product is not even listed. we tried for over an hour using 5 different apps but could not get it to work.
