The screws to hole the bases together are cheap and don't hold tight well, the bases are the usual plastic. But no weird plastic smell so all good lol

I wanted to be able to display comics in a way that I could switch them out regularly, and this does the trick. I did have to adjust the little screw a few times to get it to stay in place, but it holds once it’s set in place. I can’t speak to how well they hold a graded comic, but for a simple bagged and boarded comic it holds just fine.

These comic mounts work great. My CGC comics fit tight and aren't going anywhere. Some reviews complained the mounts weren't tight enough and their CGC comics could slide out and or fall out. To make a tight fit when mounting the comic I adjusted the mount to be a touch smaller than the CGC case. Just a bit. The plastic mount bends easily and the CGC case pops in. It's not sliding out or falling out. The CGC comic is still easily removable.

This is a great product, much more user friendly than other competitors. They are easy to assemble, easy to lay out, and easy to mount. My one critique is the price point which seems excessive for what it is.

I've seen reviews for this that made it seem like a CGC slab would fit snugly in this holder. However, this thing is next to useless since there's so much space in there for the slab to slide back and forth, and when you put one in (even if you tighten it as much as you can) it will almost fall right out of it. If you hang it on the wall (very carefully) I guess it might stay there, but just hope you dont live in an earthquake prone area. I think the only way to maybe make this work would be to put some kind of padding behind the slab, but then you're going to have the slab sticking out from the wall quite some distance. Jeez... I thought my CGC slabs were going to look perfect in these, but I really cant use them at all. It will not only look shitty since the slab will almost certainly be tilted from the loose fit, but I will constantly be risking it falling right out of this thing and damaging the comic.Highly recommended that you DO NOT buy this if you think it will be a snug holder for... anything.

Excellent product! Will purchase a 3rd time in the future. Sturdy, adjustable, great look. I have several mounted to the wall and one I'm using as a stand. Both ways are excellent. Even though these are sturdy and clipped in well, what I do is put the graded book in a plastic comic sleeve then I clip it in. After I mount it I take a small piece of invisible tape and tape the top clip to the front of plastic sleeve and the bottom clip to the plastic sleeve. 1-2 inch tape total. The tape is not noticeable, or nessecary, but its damn near impossible to fall out now, even if you were pulling on it. Just a extra layer of protection incase of a earthquake or something, lol

I don't know why some people are complaining that these don't work as advertised or will damage the books. As you can see in my pictures they hold both graded and raw, and the nut and bolt don't ever touch the book. I've had some of these books hanging for years and never has one fallen or been damaged. The people writing the negative reviews obviously don't know how to use these properly.

I had some collectibles to mount on the wall (first time), and after doing some research it was obvious these were exactly what I needed. Their design is simple but effective; two adjustable (slotted) L-shaped lucite pieces held together by a bolt and a nut; slide them together to fit the comic book, tighten the nut and hang it on the wall using one of the keyhole openings (there’s one at each end). However, only two of my five items were comic books; the other three were VHS tapes and a DVD. The height of the tapes was no problem, but the thickness of their cases made it a near thing. Ultimately, I was successful due to the flexibility of the lucite. Also, the DVD was quite a bit shorter than the lucite at its closest setting and I thought initially that I would not be able to use the frame; they are, after all, designed for displaying comic books. After studying it for a bit, I concluded that the solution was to trim both pieces of lucite so that I could put them closer together. I used an X-Acto knife and a metal straight edge and after sawing away for several minutes I was successful. Shipping was free and speedy. I will definitely be buying them again for my next project!

These have been great for mounting comics whether graded or not to the wall to display as artwork. I use one piece of small size 3M Velcro to attach them to the wall. This makes it easy to swap out different comics to rotate what is being displayed. These are meant for home display, so would not be secure enough to keep someone from stealing something if put in a public place. It is simple to assemble as it is 2 pieces of plastic held together with 1 set screw/nut. You can tighten the nut by hand so no tools are necessary.

Very simple yet very impactful at the same time, really brings out the comics I want to display with them, it's a lot nicer than just taping a comic to a wall. It's easy to remove and replace the comics on these so you can update them whenever you feel like it. It's best to use command strips for these using a nail is way too overboard for something that weighs just a quarter of a pound, plus you get the added benefit of being able to remove the stand and put it back on as much as you like as well. I just wish they came in discounted 5-packs or 10-packs.
