The two shelves are nicely made and have a matted, spray painted coating. The magnets are exceptionally strong. The rubberized magnets run the full length of the back shelve surface (see picture). The larger or the thicker a magnet you have, the stronger it is, generally. They will hold a variety of items and can easily be moved from one place to another.The mesh, bottom piece could be a bit deeper. It holds normal size spice containers, but not ones that are bigger. You can store them on the shelve, however they will stick out on the bottom and rest at an angle. Not a big deal in my mind. The shelves are constructed well, have very strong magnets and, for two, the price is attractive.

I thought for some reason that these *came* with a magnetic strip to hang them on. I honestly can’t tell you why - it’s very obvious these are to be used on metal surfaces. Despite my mistake, I do have some magnets with holes in the middle that I will use to hang these shelves up. The magnetic strip on the back covers the full width and height of the shelf, so I have no doubt that these will stay in place even if you look at them cross wise.Very cute, bubble gum pink color - pink enough to be cute, but not so bright that they stick out.

A nice pair of shelves that have strong magnets that fit well, they are quite low and have a lip at the front to stop things falling off. I would have liked a little more depth but maybe the magnets wouldn't hold if that were the case. The magnets as they are, do feel strong enough to hold quite a lot.They come with two little pockets that would fit pens or something, they don't quite match the shelves since the shelves are metal and the pockets are plastic so the white colour is a little different but it's not a big deal. I haven't found a use for the pockets yet but if you had a white board on your fridge they would be good for markers. I have used one shelf on my fridge and one on my dryer.
