We have a salt water fiberglass pool in southwest Florida and in some spots we get a rust colored stain that appears. I splash some of this over it each time I see it. I also add some if we fill from our well. I have tried various methods for this removal of stain and this works best for me. I have some chemicals I add a splash every week and this has become one of them to also prevent the stain from appearing in the first place.

So I'm trying to extend the life of my pool a few years before I totally retile and replaster it and I had gotten the purple stain from using a copper product in lieu of chlorine. So instead of following the directions on the product I poured it into a spray bottle and sprayed the entire perimeter of water line tile and then started at a point sprayed about four or five tiles again and used a metal brush and a scraper to clean off the tile. And I just kept doing that all the way around the pool making sure to pre-spray the next section of tile I was about to work on. It worked really well on the purple areas but the really old old deposits above it are going to probably take more treatment. One bottle did the entire pool perimeter. I made sure to spray at the top of the tile to let the product run down the face of the tile to get the most use out of it.

Here's the saltwater poolhouse that seems to have stains from salt bags placed in pool...I just put the product in the pool over the stains. It says it works with saltwater cells so after using and scrubbing the stains on the second day of 5-7 scrubbing days there has not been a change yet. Will let you know.

My pool gets green metal deposits in the filter. This product helps. I wish it were cheaper.

This stuff really does help keep stains from forming on the bottom of my pool. I always have leaves that don't get picked up by the polaris and if I don't scoop them out quick enough they would stain. I use this stuff every month or so and it works on those and other stains.
