This filtering system is expensive but it's worth it. The water definitely tastes different from tap, other filtration or bottled water. Very happy with the product and would reccommend it.

I converted from Zero Water after I read some unsettling news about microplastics in their filtered water. Clearly Filtered was a bit more expensive, but worth every single penny. The water is so fresh and pure tasting I can’t believe it took me this long to convert!The filter (after prepping it) is pretty fast considering how much junk this thing takes out of my tap water. About 1/2 hr to fill the pitcher with filtered water. The only issue I’ve had with the pitcher is if it’s too full (the water waiting to be filtered in the basin) it will leak out from the lid if you try to pour it. I now keep the basin half-full to avoid this. I also wish that the pitcher was fully closed over the spout. I keep the pitcher on my counter and I worry about an occasional bug making its way in. That’s a minor issue, for sure though. I highly recommend getting yourself this top notch water filter!

The filter pitcher works very well. It works quickly. When I fill it up, it takes about 30 minutes for the water to filter through. There is no taste, no smell and when you put a full glass of water up to the light, you do not see any floaty things in the water like you do with tapwater. It is very convenient. I usually fill it up in the morning or at night before I go to bed. For one person, I do go through the whole amount of water usually by the end of the day. I did have some trouble when it originally arrived and I was putting it together. While following the directions, I screwed the filter on and filled up the container with water. The water was overflowing the filter, the washer was not working. I called the company, and the gentleman from customer service was very patient and we realized the washer had been installed upside down. He had me turn it over, screw it back on and fill it up with water. It worked perfectly. I was very grateful for that gentleman who answered the phone. I love this water filter system. The one drawback is if you’re going to buy this for family use it is not a large amount of water. You’d probably fill it up several times a day. Being single I can get away with filling it up once a day and going through it by the end of the day. If you had the room in your refrigerator, you could buy two if you were going to use the system for a family.

Just received today and it looks like a rat went to war with the filter. Plastic is all scratched up and the rubber gauge is part yellow with a little chunk missing. I mean I wouldn’t care if this was 30$ or 40$ but for this price I expected better.Update: The customer service makes up for the slip. I called them and they ended up replacing the entire pitcher.

Other reviews discussed the cheap plastic container. I thought if I handled it gently, I would not have the problem that others have had. The plastic top is into components. You have to take the back portion off to fill. The back portion was already a bit warped when I received it. Therefore it made it not fit properly into the front section. This requires you to hold it down every time you pour it. Within the month, the filter stopped working properly. I went to remove the section which I had to pull up on the front section to pull it out. And the whole front section cracked. Very disappointed as the water tasted excellent. Sent it back and ordered zero as others have done. I can’t state whether the zero product has as good of a filter, but it doesn’t really matter if the container is faulty. The zero container is excellent. It has a little sprout. It’s made sturdy and easy to handle. When I return the product, I inserted a note to the company, please consider redesigning your container. I think that the filter is possibly better who knows I did not do independent testing. But without a sturdy container, it makes no difference.

Takes up the same real estate as a Britta, but I can tell you that the flavour and clarity of the water from Clearly Filtered is so much better than my Britta ever managed. I've seen people complain that it takes too long. I found after soaking the filter as directed that it was very slow, but what do you expect!?! If it wasn't slow, that would mean it's not doing its job! Now that I've been using it for a few days (so I guess all the nooks and crannies are wet), the reservoir filters fully in about a half hour to 45 minutes, which is more than fast enough for me.

I love that it removes more impurities than most purifying jugs and yet retains the essential minerals that your body needs. There is no flavour, just the most refreshing water you have ever tasted. The unit seems strong enough but I hold my hand under the base anyway just for added support. It has a larger capacity, so when full, it’s fairly heavy. I fill a glass carafe with the filtered water so that I always have filtered water available. The jug and the extra filter I ordered arrived ahead of time and in perfect condition. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Basically I find it works well yet HANDLE is on edge of breaking or so it feels. I have to pick up entire container and not use handle when pouring water out of it as don’t have faith that handle will hold. Not sure if others have found their water dispenser to have the same weakness.
