These are awesome!!! We have pretty bad tap water in our area. We’ve been using an alkaline filter for years, still use it. I love the glass, the sleek look of this one and it’s an excellent company to buy from. We bought several as Christmas gifts this year.Only drawback? It filters slowly. No big deal, though.

The LifeStraw filtered water jug is a solid choice for those looking for clean, great-tasting water on a daily basis. The filter does an excellent job of purifying water, leaving it tasting fresh and clear, without any of the usual aftertaste from tap water or bottles. It’s incredibly easy to use and does a great job of reducing contaminants, making it a reliable option for everyday hydration. My only real disappointment is the container itself—while functional, it’s not made of glass, which would have been a nice touch. A glass design would have felt more premium and sustainable compared to the plastic construction. Nevertheless, the jug is durable and does the job well, making it a great investment for improving your water quality without the need for single-use bottles.I am a picky water drinker and prefer bottled water but this tastes great and I approve!

The water tastes pure and the pitcher is a nice looking design and easy to fill and change filters. The 10 cup one that I got, is a little on the heavy and tall side though. My next one will be the smaller version for that reason, since I'm an older person who doesn't have the arm strength I used to have. Fun.

Pros: water tastes great and I’ve been drinking more water. Fills easy. Looks great in my fridge.Cons: it took forever to arrive. I ordered it on Black Friday and it didn’t arrive until Christmas. It was frustrating that it took so long to be delivered. The initial setup with the filters and soaking and whatnot took a while, set some time aside to do this. Also disappointing that it is plastic, I thought it was glass for some reason. The pitcher showed up scratched which was a bummer, but by that time I wasn’t ready to wait another month to get a new one to arrive. I wish the photos showed the pitcher in a fridge door as I almost got the bigger one and I’m not sure it would fit well.

I bought this pitcher in September 2023 and have really liked it! The water tastes great to me and I like the ethos of the Lifestraw brand. It filters the water a little slower than other filters I've used in the past but that doesn't really bother me much as a single person household. I have just made a habit of always filling it again after I have used it for a glass of water or to make tea.Like many others in these reviews it started leaking from the base seam about a month ago April-ish 2024. I contacted Lifestraw on their normal website and they replaced it for me. They sent me a whole new pitcher and filter housing which was really nice. I was only expecting the outer pitcher part. For those who were not aware they have a 3 year warranty! Just make sure you purchase this from Amazon LLC and not a third party seller. I do hope they work on this design flaw with the plastic models. The glass version was my ideal pitcher as I try to not use plastic much in my kitchen but I can be clumsy and was afraid I would break that one so I went with the plastic version.

I bought this water filter because it was claimed that it removed parasites and microplastics from water. I wanted a filter that would remove parasites from river water so I could use the water from a stream which runs close to where I live, in case the tap water became unavailable in the community. Two of the most common waterborne illnesses are caused by the parasites Cryptosporidium and Giardia intestinalis. Both re common in water flowing in rivers and creeks. So I wanted them removed. The tap water where I live kills all plants that are watered with the tap water. The tap water is so full of grunge, that anywhere the water dries it leaves a brown scum where it dried. Every other filter I own removes the brown grunge. But not this one. I discovered that this filter container has brown rings around it on the inside, which means the water is not being filtered. At all. This means that the design of the filter system is flawed. I doubt very much the filter design was ever tested in real world condition, otherwise they would have discovered grunge rings around the inside of the water pitcher, like I did. I highly recommend against buying this "water filter", because it does not appear to filter anything.

Came scratched and box was rough, so I got a replacement and then 2nd unit was also scratched on the lid and even had rough plastic on the handle. For this price point it’s not living up to my standards. Returned and will buy from a different brand.

This Lifestraw pitcher is a replacement for a Clearly Filtered pitcher I had for years. The handle broke off, it was difficult to clean, and it was very expensive, so the search began for another option. I’ve been using this Lifestraw product for a few weeks now, and I’m very happy so far. The company has a great reputation for filtering the water and actually making it safer, while also contributing to the those in need. I was able to fit the 10 cup pitcher in my refrigerator door after removing an upper shelf, which I think helps keep the pitcher cleaner than leaving it out on the counter. Also, the filling mechanism is superior to most competitors, as you don’t have to take the lid off to fill and it doesn’t leak if you pour before filtering is complete! The pitcher can become quite heavy on the wrist when filled, but I don’t see the handle breaking easily because it is located higher than others I’ve used. I did purchase the silicone base/sleeve for protection because I have children who might put it down on a hard surface, and the sleeve fit like a glove. Can I also add that the Lifestraw pitcher is actually attractive? It isn’t an eyesore on the dinner table if you entertain. That wasn’t something I required, but it is added bonus. At this time, I would definitely recommend this pitcher filter!
