Φ1mm なのでそれなりの剛性があり、持ち手もあり使いやすいです。掃除のコツはこまめに通すこと。怠るとピンすら通らなくなり、こうなるとドリルの出番となります

エンジニアのSD-71がパイプの途中までしか届かないのでこちらを購入。こちらはきちんとチップ先端からパイプの箸まで貫通します。チップのサイズに応じて使い分けられるのも良いと思います。

It's a steep price for a piece of spring wire, but if you need a replacement for the stock head on a Hakko desoldering gun, it certainly does the trick. There are some Prime-eligible 1 mm steel rods available on Amazon for a bit less, but the difference isn't huge.

I recently bought a used Hakko Desoldering tool, FX-808, for removing aluminum scrap from voltage regulator heatsinks in computers. The only missing piece from the kit was this cleaning pin, which is an essential part of the setup. Without the cleaning pin, the nozzle filled with solder and byproduct buildup that didn't even melt when the iron was at full heat. After getting this tool, I recovered the gunked up nozzle and the tool now works swimmingly, and we plow through the pcbs with it!
