We put this on my dog's harness while she's working (she is a search and rescue K9), so it's important to be able to hear where she is in the field. Nice clear tone. I put it on a small carabiner, and it's easy to clip to her harness.

It's a small brass bell and it makes a small sound.

This bell has a unique tone that helps me locate him when we go on walks in the bush. I love the fact I can hear him scouting around or coming from a distance when I call him. The tone is pleasant and not irritating when he is inside the house like other bells he has worn in the past.
