I just worked with my hunting dog with this dummy and she loves it... It has one problem thats easily fixable and I recommend you do it before you throw it for the first time.The string that goes through the dummy will extend out all the way out on the head end and makes a tripping hazard for your dog. Simple fix tie a knot in the string on the plastic ball end of the dummy (close to the dummy) so the string doesn't move while your dog is bringing it back. Once I did that it worked perfectly.

Dog's who are heavy chewers haven't killed it yet....strange with string detachment. Removed the "wood" item at the end in fear of swallowing it whole. Texture is a strange foamlike product. Dogs haven't killed it yet, aren't in love with it as a fetch toy.

This is a great duck for training hunting dogs..I use this just with dog at the lake for swimming. . Great quality duck

I use this to train my lab puppy duck hunting. She loves it. It's bigger so a puppy can't use it but once the are about a year old, it will be great to use for training. Very durable

Just received this and took it out to our pond with our Vizsla. Seems like it will be a great product. Durable, floats well, good weight for throwing. Pretty good value.

We have used it heavily in training the Lab pup. The balance of the dummy mimics a live duck. It throws well into the water. After 2 months of use it still floats but the rope slipped and had to be glued. It is possible with such heavy use it was not possible to hold up. I still think for the price the training dummy was worth every penny. I have ordered a new one. Our Lab loves it.

Doesn’t feel like dense rubber or foam like the ones from cabelas, tractor supply, etc. this foam is stiffer so I don’t think it gives any sort of a realistic feel. VERY LIGHTWEIGHT, so definitely feels cheap.It’s also not durable. Dog ripped head off during 2nd round at fetch when the two both grabbed at the same time.
