We got this bumper to teach our dogs to retrive and in the hopes we could also use it for nose work. The bumper is durable and well made. It is a big heavy for our dog, but it floats well and is hollow so we can put scents and material inside for tracker training.

I highly recommend this gunner bumper! I have been trying to find a durable, lightweight & floating bumper for some time to work on our water retrieving.My two options was gunner or dive bomb. I went with Gunner for the simple fact of great materials used, trusted brand & the cost.

I use training bumpers for water & field work and thought I’d the Gunner one a try.First thing, it is not rubber or plastic, the material feels like a pliable hard foam. This will not withstand chewing.The shape will encourage the correct carry, you can put scent in it, the weight & balance are ok for tossing it.The color is challenging for dogs to see ( intentionally by Gunner).I am very happy with it & look forward to many training sessions with it

Dog dog is obsessed with these bumpers. They are flexible but tough allowing for a quick and confident grip. I love the ability to stuff wings and pelts inside with no need to tape making preparation and cleanup a breeze. My dog goes just a crazy for them even without scent. These bumpers played a big role in my dog learning to have confidence and enjoy the outdoors. I hope Gunner continues to produce these. I’m a fan for life! He swims in a local lake whilst holding the bumper in his mouth

I love Gunner as a brand and have several dog crates from them. I was very excited to try their bumper for teaching my dog field retrieval. She absolutely loves this bumper. It floats and is easy to clean. The slot in the center allows air to pass through so your dog can breathe easier while carrying it. It’s very light weight and easy to throw. There is even a plug that pulls out to allow you to put scent or feathers inside for advanced training. It’s well worth the money.

So far this is working great and holding up well. Our little chocolate lab seems to enjoy this training aid as she will go for this one faster than she will for they other ones we have.
