I got this to see if my Gsp would pick up on this and she did I got her a deer tail I had laying around put some of this on it made a drag hid it and she found it every time nose on the same trail I brought the drag down so I’m gonna continue training him with this product I will buy again

I did not like the fact my dog had no interest whatsoever in the scent, I went to the woods with her to a quit place to do some one-on-one training and she didn't have any care for it at all so I thought maybe I didn't use enough so I did a little more and a bottle ran out quick use the whole bottle in one practice run and nothing not pleased at all.

Got this after running out of real blood for training. Product had no scent to me at all, set track and dog had absolutely no interest.After the fact found several similar reviews with a "new" product change. Not sure if formula changed but this was not a good tool for my dog. Went back with real blood and drags and interested and tracking, so something seemed off with scent of this product.

Update: After messaging, Jeremy reached out to me explaining the difference in color but is still going to send me out a new bottle, hopefully of the consistency of the stuff in the bottle with the yellow lab.The bottles with the lab have been great. Something is clearly different with the bottles with the brown circle. I've only been able to get the good stuff with the bottles with the yellow lab. Sent this issue to the owners, so we will see what they say. On a side note, I ordered a new kit and it's soaking in water now for the first time and all of the hair is coming out and it isn't even fully hydrated yet. Hopefully they get back to the quality I've grown to love.

BEWARE! I have trained a Labrador retriever to recover whitetail with great success with the dog bone blood trail system. I have used the original hide and drag for two seasons and have been very pleased.BUTthe last bottle of scent had no obvious scent compared to the last bottles. My dog is very good at alerting to first scent and almost ignores this last batch.

Product works just as advertised. I started my bluetick hound on it when he was 3 months. Now he's 20 months old and ready for his second hunting season. He has blood trailed a total of six different fatally wounded deer last season finding all six. Some trails were up to 150yards long. I'm in Florida so terrain varies from flat woods to bay swamp. Some of the trails were easily noticeable (blood) and some didn't bleed enough for the eye to see. The hound had no problem. I started him with this product and continue to use it now. I would recommend it to all avid hunters who use dogs to track game. In my case fatally wounded game.
