Made by dog trainers for dog trainers this dog bumper is specifically made to feel like a real bird in your dogs mouth. Unlike other bumpers that are rock hard or made of plastic, this dog bumper will teach your dog good mouth habits when retriever training and apply those habits to the field when duck hunting or bird hunting.
Filled will 100% granulated cork with a weighted bottom you will be able to throw these dog bumpers as far as your arm allows and rely on them to float when retriever training in the water. Our Poly Throw Loop design allows for easy storage in your bag or garage, as well as being less temping for your dog to pick the dummy up by compared to long throw ropes. Every dog bumper is hand sewn with double stitched seams to ensure the durability to last countless training sessions.

I expected a larger bumper. This one is tiny. Dog ripped the throwing tag off first day. $27 is way too much for what I got. I am a big Dog Bone fan.I am a professional trainer and thought I would check out one of the firehouse bumpers before I bought a dozen.Glad I did.

I was really surprised to find that it contains a hard plastic container-like floating device inside. This is going to be useful for playing fetch and training in water as it floats to the very top and if submerged it'll all ways make it back up. The durability and materials are a little underwhelming. The rope is made of some kind of acrylic nylon so don't really let your dog keep it and chew on it. my dog chewed right through it in one night but please know that i see why it's acrylic. This is a water dummy. There's no way untreated canvas and regular rope will withstand regular water activity. So my only regret is that it was mixed in with a sea of other fetch toys but this is a very specific water toy. With all that said I'm looking forward to taking it with me when we're near the lake.

I know this toy isn’t meant to be a chew toy. I got it for my goldendoodle who loves this material and it took her all of 3 minutes maybe alittle less to chew holes in it. Definitely not durable. Thought it would last ATLEAST an hour. Didn’t even last 5 minutes.

Our dog loves this toy; we had gone through literally one toy per week because he could easily tear them or they would fall apart; not this one. It’s well made and can stand the tough play.
