I bought this for my german shepherd. I bought the larger size because of her very deep chest, then had to almost remake it to fit. There are no buckles to affix the strap under the waist, just a buckle that a loop of strap slides on to. On the first walk it slid off while she was running through brush and we lost it. I came home and remade the straps with plastic click on buckles and sturdier webbing straps and now we all love it. If I wasn’t a home sewer I would have given it a lower rating. On the positive side, the chest configuration allows freedom of movement without pressing on her shoulders as she runs, or cutting off her windpipe with a strap that just runs across her chest. This strap is cut in a V to allow for dog anatomy.

This vest is exactly as described. Highly visible, stays in place and is easy to put on and remove. One small comment on the clips; they have to be inserted into a fabric loop - would be easier if it was a pinch type clasp like most pet harnesses. It's not enough to deter from its effectiveness. This handsome dog is about 62 pounds and sizing was spot on. Material does not snag on branches, provides great visibility and does not interfere with a collar. Buy an orange beanie for the human and you're good to go!

My dog has lost, tore or HATED every visibility vest I've put on him, except this one. He is not gentle on it by any means. He runs through all the brush, sticker bush, rolled around and explored miles of trails and this vest is still around and in great condition.It does take a little longer to put on then a simple quick release clip, between the Velcro and side strap, but it's worth it the few extra seconds to fit it each time to assure it doesn't come off or snag on anything. It cleans super easy as well.

Seems to be pretty good quality, my lab is 65 lbs and we got a large but probably could have benefited from a medium because we have the vest cinched down to the smallest it can go and it’s still slightly loose but it will still serve it’s purpose

These are a must to have during hunting seasons. Stay on even during rough and tumble play. Highly visible. Easy on and off once adjusted and easy to adjust. I Highly recommend 👌

My husky looks too much like a wolf or coyote for our cabin. He has worn a vest for years and we have tried like 7 kinds. Some too hot etc. This one…not too thick or thin. Straps adjust and it actually stays in place. I like the chest patch so it doesn’t make matted mess and helps with staying in place. He doesn’t pee on it so cut right. Will hold up to his forest frolics and dips in the water. Can be washed without falling apart. Price reasonable. Straps are secured with Velcro to stay right length. Plastic hooks used to put on and off so the velcro doesn’t get in the fur. He is good about it so pretty easy to put on.

It’s a bit big for my dog. She’s a pitbull Rottweiler cross so hard to measure. The vest is made of good quality material. Very sturdy. Only thing I don’t like is how you have to attach the straps on the sides. They hook into a loop, very awkward to unhook. A clip on would be better.

Fits my dog well, I've tried lots of other brands that were either too big or too large for his body shape. The way the vest goes on is a little annoying-it has hooks instead of clips/buckles and they can be annoying to remove when it's time for the vest to come off. It seems comfortable for him, we'll see how durable it is out in the woods.

Fits well, sturdy. Much better than the velcroOne I had previously.The hook takes some getting use to, but it’s simple and effective. Very happy!!!!!!!!
