i atatched pheasant wings to the dummies with zip ties. when i launched the dummy, it blew the wings and zip ties away from the dummy. these are very well made dummies and take allot of punishment from the launcher. good quality in what ive seem.thank youchris n.

This launcher is very easy to use, you can adjust the thrown distance by changing the the cartridge level. a number 4 launches the dummy probably 50-75 yards, a 3 would be shorter and a 2 even shorter. I found you can use the standard construction blanks (for concrete nails) and save a bit of cash. Again great training aid.

Not as pictured. This looks flat on the metal piece. It is not. Typical raised ring that sometimes breaks my dogs teeth in they pick it up wrong or it bounces on the ground.

I like having a second dummy to launch immediately after the puppy picks up the first one. It helps to keep her focused on the first dummy and disregard the second until commanded to fetch it.
