I have used this vest for several months and it is holding up well. I bought the Medium for my 5 month old Chessy. She was not happy staying home so I decided to take her with my older dog. She was about 37 lbs. it fit here fairly well with the Velcro in the smaller position. She is about 47lbs. and she still has plenty of adjustment left in the vest. It probably won’t fit her next season but it was still a great investment. Puppies don’t have the fat to help keep them warm while hunting. The only thing that was hard was getting the four Velcro tabs positioned while an excited young puppy wants to get hunting early in the morning.

I bought an XXL for my 75lb American Lab. He is a taller/thinner lab which made the vest a little loose around the belly. He had a small rash/dry spot under his “armpit” area after wearing the vest over 2 days (while out at the duck blind), but then again it was his first duck hunt and first time wearing a vest. He seemed very comfortable running around and looking around. Overall, I’m happy with the vest.
