I love the practice clothes. Save the environment and avoid clutter. The brush is crap and the in ink dish is cheap (expected for a package deal). One can buy better brushes and dishes.

Gave it to friend who wanted to practice calligraphy but couldn't because of small kids in the house.they loved it!when my friend leaves the room to go to bathroom, they no longer have to worry about kids "try the thing out on the wall".

The product works as advertised. However the brush itself leaves a bit to be desired. It tends to shed hairs on occasion when touched. However apart from that I’m quite happy with it. I’d recommend you use filtered or distilled water as hard water tends to leave its mineral residue after repeated use. Also if you could get your hands on a proper brush that would probably improve ones experience.

I like that this set has everything my students need to practice their characters using an authentic calligraphy brush. The cloths dry quickly and it's a great value for what I paid. I will be buying them again.
