I ordered this brush for learning Korean Calligraphy. I used to learn how to use the Chinese brush when I was young from school in Korea. Of course this brush is not some hundreds dollars brush so you will expect that it will sheds. But you also need to learn how to use the brush correctly. It was shed only two times from the beginning, but after few hours, it feels so good when you draw letters in your drawing book.

I am a beginner in calligraphy. These brushes have a sharp point, allowing precision. They keep the ink well and facilitate a stable movement. I am satisfied with them. I also appreciate the customer service.

I got the brushes for my painting and calligraphy in Chinese and English. They are made of yellow fox hair, mountain rabbit fur, from the foreheads of horses, the side hair of cats also from goats! Ha! How delightful! π The Direction is wonderfully detailed: PREP: soak 10 min in warm water, shape it with your fingers, let hang (that's what the loop is for). Shedding is normal and stopped. Before each use, repeat prep and let rest 10 min. Then there is a drawing of how-to hold pen which I learned in my Honker childhood, these days I hold it my own way. Lotta ink makes the brush flexible, too little ink makes for difficult turns. Wash immediately after use with cool water. STORE hanging on loop in a bright cool spot, avoid direct sun, dryness and darkness. I store mine in the kitchen with the warm smell of food and happy hungry pepo! π All the Best to your Art! ππ»ββοΈ

The brush pens are not much better than those I bought online with $5. I donβt think I will buy brush pen online. I have go to Taiwan, the pen my brother sent to me from Taiwan is really really good.

purchased this brush pen set for practicing calligraphy and they do their job. The brush tip doesn't split which is good. But the brush is not very flexible comparing with other good brush pens. Good for beginners to control as it's relatively firm, but not for experienced people as it doesn't do the subtle work for you.

Good for the price and works for what I am personally using it for. Probably a really good brush for people in the process of learning.

The largest brush is still too small. Besides, the tip is a little too soft. They are not cheap either.
