Worked great until I put some serious pressure on it and tore a bit. I am thinking it was my faut not the cheese cloth though!

Just what I ordered as I am getting into herbal meds and I need to strain items. It works great for what I am using it for. The order came within two days and I was just getting ready to make some peony salve, so great timing! Thanks Amazon.

This is a lot of cheesecloth. I'm not always making cheese but I use it for a variety of other cooking applications like herb bouquets or finely straining sauce. Even when I'm putting a lot of pressure on the cloth, such as while pressing paneer, I haven't experienced any tearing. Easy to cut with scissors.

I make several dishes that need the water to be completely removed from a vegetable. Previously, I would try to strain using a metal mesh strainer and it took a long time. Even with time and manual manipulation the water didn’t come out completely. With the cheese cloth, I squish it down, twist to compress and it is perfect. Removing the liquid has improved my zucchini pancakes consistency as well as made them easier to cook.

I use it in the kitchen to make skyr, and husband uses it for sprout growing. This is much tighter woven than the stuff I got from the grocery store, and I wasn’t sure I would like it, but it works really well. Yes, I wash and dry it in the machines with my laundry, in a lingerie bag, and it’s fine for reuse.I’m starting to use it as a middle layer for my homemade cloth masks.Nothing about this product deviated from the description, as far as I can tell. That’s always a plus!

Wow, this stuff was a wonderful surprise. I've used a seriously crappy cheesecloth for at least 4 years in straining rendered lard. It was good for one use, then had to be tossed. Pathetic. And I thought that all cheesecloth was created equal. HA, no! This cloth is suitable for multiple uses, in which case I bought way too much :-). But that's okay as long as it works the way I know it will work. The weave alone is a thing of beauty. I don't know 'grades' but Grade 90 is hot stuff from what I can see. The mesh is teeny fine, and the 'weave', if akin to thread count, is generous beyond words. If cheesecloth can be lovely, then this is LOVELY. And I now see how crafters can use it. It's nice enough to be used in wreaths, etc. I could not be happier, and I'm sure my lard will be even whiter in the future!Thank you, Sceng, for a superiory product at a great price. It should also be noted that it comes well packaged. If I live long enough to use it all, I will definitely re-purchase.

I have been using store-bought cheesecloth for >20 years. I am not going to name who I bought it from but YOUR cheesecloth is second to none.I use the cheesecloth for cheese making - specifically, Ricotta. The cheesecloth that I had been using would have come out in shreds had I known you could wash. It was pretty expensive for a small lot unlike yours. The other thing that I use the cheese cloth for is to make tea bags with enough tea for a gallon of tea. I will try to wash your cloth when I make my next batch tomorrow. Do you handwash or machine wash?
