Put to use immediately and tapped 4 holes in no time. Worked amazingly well, though the task was pretty simple, dealing with just a cast aluminum material. Now I have a larger tap (by this same brand) waiting to make a hole in a much harder metal and I'm expecting it will likewise perform well. Glad I got them and the price was great. Happy to support a WI-based company too.

Needed to put wheels on a table but no wheels would fit the 5/16 fine threads the table was using.No problem as this carbon steel tap carved out a 5/16-18 into my metal support holes with no issues thus allowing me to install wheels that had 5/16-18 bolt stems. Great product at a great price.

I'm a professional Mechanic (retired) I don't like incomplete or damaged tool sets and replace items as needed. If you don't do that, in a short amount of time you have junk.
