I was fishing in pike country with these by the time I got to the flag I was waiting for it to start spinning again wich it never did but I realized that the string was completely gone. I then checked the other 2or three I had and none of these pre strung tip ups were tied to the reel or spool.

They are ok at best. They need to be lubed pretty good before use. Had issues with them freezing up and not turning when the temp was below zero. Got some of the HT tip ups and never had that issue.

I ordered several of these tip-ups, one of them wasn't working properly and some of them came without the line. I contacted the seller through Amazon. They got back to me in about 2 hours and sent me another tip-up and some line for the others at no charge.

I use these tip ups for my back ups. A couple of years ago I was blown off the lake and lost a good amount of my gear and decided to pick these up as a cheap filler for the end of the season. They work fine for about a year but after that they need some work. Unlike Beaver Dams you cant just pull these out of the water, stick them in your bucket and expect them to be fine the next outing. I have pulled the center poles on mine and found a good deal of rust. Some time with a wire brush and Sub Zero lube and they are good to go. Good little tip up for beginners and for those days your group gets bigger.

The celsius tip ups are just like any other tip up that you would buy. it works just fine the only problem is that the flag is made out of plastic and after a couple times out u get creases on it and it starts to brake off. but i think that it's not a bad tip up
