I have a ranch house with a basement. I put the outside antenna in my attic. The unit I put in the basement will the indoor antenna facing up in the middle of my house. I went from 1 bar to full bars. Everything on my phone is much faster. I do wish it had more cable for my installation. I would have put it on my roof. Works great.

The product worked, meaning it did amplify the signal. I am now able to hold onto a phone call without it dropping. It gained one bar for the most part. My phone generally has two bars for a signal now and drops to one now and again. The closest tower is 1.6 miles away. This helped allot but I was hoping for more. I am glad I purchased the unit. Directions are good. I can now dial 911 if needed and communicate regularly without loosing the call.

Wow, this unit works great. Bought it to use at my cabin in northern Michigan. We could not get any cell signal in or around the cabin. Would have to walk 100 yards down the road to make a call. After reading reviews I picked this one based on the number of cell bands supported and price.I set it up in less than an hour. Placed the outdoor antenna 20 feet up on my TV antenna tower. Ran the wires. Hung the indoor antenna. Plugged it in and hoped for the best. After it booted up, it immediately found and locked on to band 5 which is a pretty common cell band. Then I looked at the phone and was amazed at the signal strength. 4G 3 bars. Wow. I've never seen that up here before. Then I made a call from the kitchen table. It worked. Call went through no problem and had excellent clarity. Then tried the internet. Worked good. A little delay but worked. Texting worked great and could even text pictures. So, I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.

We live in a very remote section of the ozark mountains in north central Arkansas. We do have some cell towers around but my house area has very poor service. When we moved into a mobile home with a metal roof, we lost everything. Our internet tower is tmobile and was not picking up in the window and we were about to cancel our internet due to it. Our cell phones did not work inside either. And the land line got more expensive by the day. We decided to try a cell booster in hopes we could use our cell phones and internet inside the house, and disconnect the land line. If your reading this review you may be overwhelmed like I was, at all the options on Amazon. I had no idea which product to even try. I took a gamble and ordered this one. Omg I could not be happier!!! The antanea went up easily and with the use of the locator app, I easily found the closest cell tower. I only had a weak signal so I had my doubts if it would even lock on. But I put it up and tightend it all down. I installed the components in the house and it was the easiest thing ever!!! I just located it as directed in the manual and plugged it all in. The unit done the rest and immediately had a hard lock on the signal. It not only brought nearly full signal to our cell phones but also took my internet tower up to a strong signal as well!!! Now we can not only text on our phones but make phone calls without dropping! We can also stream movies from any room in the house. Even during bad storms, she holds signal unbelievably long! I'll lose my internet some times if the storm is bad enough. But I normally keep enough bars on my phone to watch weather alerts. It will however go out if you lose power. But kicks back in as soon as the power comes back on. I highly recommend this booster!!! Between the price, the ease of installation and the efficiency at which it works....it's a very good investment !!!

Works really well. Went from no cell service in the basement to 3 to 4 bars and can make and receive calls with no issues .

**Update** Seller was very helpful and eager to make things right. I was sent a replacement which is working perfectly now. PROTIP: our amplifier usually doesn't show -any band lights-, even when it's correctly working. We live in the mountains of NC. We have the absolute worst and weakest signal imaginable, even outside on a 20 foot ladder, it's barely enough to get 1 bar. If you're like us and it seems like your booster kit isn't working just because the band lights don't come on, try connecting the indoor side and testing with your phones anyway. Both the defective item and the replacement item behaved this way with the lights, and I felt dejected after climbing down the ladder when the replacement's lights were still unlit. I sat down on the couch, only to discover my cell phone had full bars and -no X over the signal by the time-. Ran speed tests and made a call-- all working. Checked amplifier-- only light was power. The only way we could tell the replacement was working was to try to use our phones anyway. Final conclusion: minus one star for less-than-perfect experience from the beginning. We have awful LTE connectivity in my area. However, my phone is an Android device and I'm rooted. I'm a network and systems administrator by trade. I was already very familiar with the LTE Discovery app before I ever purchased this product, along with the relative locations and distances of the closest towers for my providers (AT&T & Verizon-- I have two SIMS). I am able to regularly obtain a stable signal at two locations on my property. The strength ranges from -107 to -115 (on LTE bands 12 and 13). This is not fantastic, but considering the size of the directional antenna I was sent, this just shouldn't be a problem in any way for this thing to pick it up.I have tried using it in both locations in every conceivable configuration, horizontal and vertical polarity, also at 45 degrees just to check. I have managed to make this thing pick up signal maybe 1 time in 20. I have tried placing it on poles, and at the top of my 30 foot house. I eventually even used a 30 foot ladder and a metal pole., strapping it to a tree and running an outdoor extension cable to the amplifier. At that point, my cell phone had -102 as the signal on band 13. The signal booster antenna was pointed perfectly in the direction of the tower. I got 0 connection on the amplifier. Nothing. At another point, the coax cable for the connection between the antenna and the amp fell out of the metal screw connection on the amp side. I crimped it back on, thinking "Oh! maybe it was just a bad termination!" but it made no difference.I have tried for almost 2 weeks now to get this working but it's just not happening. And now because the cable fell out and a couple of the stupid silicone protectors for the ends of the antenna rods went missing while i was hauling it around, I doubt I can even send it back for a replacement.Who knows what other connections weren't well terminated? It seems, based on reviews, like some users have great success with this thing, so maybe the one I got was just defective. Unfortunately, I will never know.
