I used it on AT&T since I purchased it until March of this year (about a year and a half of use) with great results. With 2 bars (iirc ~ -92dba) at the receiver I was getting up to 5 bars 4g LTE signal depending on proximity of device to the interior antenna.I switched to Verizon and was not having the same results. After a couple weeks and some digging I now need to move my exterior antenna to the other side of the building and I should be seeing similar results to when I was with at&t.Oh, yeah. For all of the reviews complaining about the band, read the entire product description and maybe even do some research into what you're buying. It's a pretty decent investment for what amounts to 3 plastic boxes tethered together with cables that does some voodoo magic above my pay grade (sarcasm). All I'm saying is what is the biggest complaint besides warmth of device during operation is information one can figure out with little difficulty, especially if you know how to use a search engine with reasonable efficacy. And to touch on the cooling issue. I haven't had a single issue with the device being too hot. The black interior antenna rarely gets hot (I also rarely touch it so take that with a grain of salt). The amplifier gets hot, but not concerningly hot. Just be sure to install it where it can at least radiate heat unimpeded if not pick up some airflow from a fan or ac and you'll likely not have to worry. (Always check up on your always on tech though, better safe than sorry!)

The unit was advertised to work with Verizon yet it did not work at all with my phone. The unit got deliver to our home and it took us a couple of weeks to take to our cabin and install it in the mean time the return time frame passed and no longer able to send it back. We tried installing in multiple areas with a clear view to towers and are getting 0 reception boost. They should not be able to advertise an item that works with a cell service if that only works in certain areas or it should be noted. We get 1 to 3 bars around our cabin (without the booster) and were hoping to get a more consistent signal with the booster but that was not the case.

I've got a cabin that's more than 10 miles from the nearest phone tower. I have service, but it's unreliable. Calls drop every few minutes, and using my phone as a hotspot doesn't allow me to get much work done unless I drive up to the highest hill above the cabin. Text messages sometimes won't go through. This booster adds about 15db of signal strength inside the cabin (according to an app I loaded onto my phone), and I've spent the past 2 days in the cabin without a single dropped call or interrupted webex meeting. I don't have great signal strength, but it's reliable and adequate. The under-the-window wiring works great and really simplified installation. I first mounted the antenna on the porch, then made a mount that stuck up above the roof. The extra 8' of elevation of the roof mount made only a small difference in signal strength. It seems that the biggest improvement in signal is because the antenna is much more sensitive than my phone, not because the antenna is at a better location than my phone usually is.I haven't checked the range of the indoor antenna, since the cabin is tiny, and the only place I really need a phone signal is at the table where I work. If I want a stronger signal over a wider area (like outside the cabin), I'd probably get a dedicated 4G hotspot and a powerful wifi router.Edit: One complaint: the indoor antenna ought to have a wall mount option. I don't have a good shelf to put it on, and since it's just resting on the shelf, hitting the cord can pull the antenna out of position. I'm probably going to end up doing something ugly like attaching it to the wall with velcro.
