I would give this Zero stars if I could. Waste of money, do not buy!!! Doesn’t stick well to fabric.

This worked well for our couch. We cut it in wide strips and put it on the couch corners when we brought our new kitty home. It has worked well, and she hasn’t scratched the couch. It has lost its stickiness over time as the kids play with or people walk past it. It doesn’t stick well to all surfaces, however. We tried it on a basket material, and it didn’t really stick. Most low pile fabrics seemed to work well with it.

Doesn’t stick to some materials but most it does just fine, and the cats stay off of it

Didn't stick to my sofa fabric. Disappointing.

Keeps our cat away from the furniture, but the plastic doesn't stay of the couch. Starts falling off every day, not enough adhesive.

We have a 12 week old kitten and needed something to protect our furniture from her scratching. I found this and really like it. I like that I can cut it off the roll to the size I need rather then being in a sheet. It is protecting the corners of my couches till the kitten, gets the hang of her scratching pole.

I do not see any new claw marks on the couches, so it seems to work properly. I just wish it had some kind of measurements on the paper part that peels off (like how the inside of wrapping paper has those little squares). It was difficult to cut it into the right shape/size to fit the couch where I wanted it to go. But it's worth the investment to save your furniture, and doesn't leave stickiness behind. It isn't too thick but just enough to keep cat claws off the furniture.I would recommend getting an alternative option for your cats to claw, and (hopefully) eventually you won't need this anymore once they learn to claw something else.

We have a newly adopted young cat and a house full of new furniture. In addition to keeping our cat's claws trimmed and having several scratching posts and pads, we needed something that we could put on those really tempting parts of our upholstered furniture to keep them from getting damaged. This roll of film is great! We can cut a piece to fit just where we need it. It is clear so it doesn't look awful (although we will remove it when we have company coming so the sofa can be used by humans!). It has just the right amount of sticky adhesive so it stays put, but doesn't mar the upholstery. And most importantly, our cat isn't scratching where she shouldn't. It works great!
