I have some of this on the corner of the sofa and some on a wall, and the cats use both! It's a nice way to protect my furniture but also doubles as a scratcher!

Doesn't stick well, needs to be improved. Plastic is nice and thick. Cats will go after the screw pins. So you'll have to cover them with tape.

I used this on my door that the cats kept scratching to get into to. It was tedious to apply, but not in a bad way. It was just a matter of getting it on straight and removing the bubbles. I peeled a little at a time and used the scraper to smooth it out as I went. It actually didn't have many bubbles at all, for the most part it smoothed itself down, I just pushed it flat. If I realized it wasn't following the edge, it was easy to remove it and try lining it up again. I did not use the blade that was provided. It felt cheap and potentially dangerous lol. I used scissors to cut it, which was a bad idea I found out later since it was not a smooth edge. I do wish the back side had a grid though because I can't, for the life of me, cut straight with a knife or scissors. It worked out still, because the film and paper are easy to cut. For the edges that stuck out unevenly, I took a box cutter knife and trimmed them off. The paper cuts smooth like butter. I do wish it was a tad taller, because most cats are taller when stretched out, and it's assumed you're covering wide areas, but I just doubled it up and it worked out.

SO HAPPY THAT THIS COMES WITH EVERYTHING !!!! I am getting a cat soon and need to cat proof alot of the soft things that I own. This comes with MORE THAN ENOUGH and also the instructions on the how which is really important for those of us just like me who needs a little bit of extra help !! I love that it is not a certain color and then looks awful against furniture - this is perfect truly.

I have a couch with ribbed material. Usually these don't stick too well to these types of material but this one stuck longer then most. I did have to apply the twist pins but at least I had some time to place it and then put in the pins.

This stuff is very nice. It came on a big role and was easy to apply. Just unroll, cut and peel off the backing. It is easy to maneuver around edges and can be cut into any shape. My only wish was that it was a little thicker. It definitely deters my cat from Scratching, but If she really wanted to scratch it she could poke through the plastic. That being said that might take away from the flexibility. So I love it.

I got these protector sheets to cover an office chair I got that is made of an upholstery material which my cats love. :( I didn't want them to ruin it.This stuff comes in a roll that you cut to size, peel off the backing of and stick to the place you want covered. I've used a similar protector before and found that it comes off easily - it doesn't stick well. And my experience was the same with this. You NEED the tacks. And because it doesn't stick great, it wrinkles as well. :/It also seems overpriced. But I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3 just because it does the job it's supposed to keeping my cats from using my chair as a scratching post.I don't know that you're going to find a better brand - they all seem to be the same when it comes to this stuff. So just make sure it comes with tacks and get the best price you can. (And use the coupon if there is one)
