Really fast set up and connection is simple and consistent. Allows for viewing on the display in the front of the vehicle separate from the rear video which is nice. Four stars because the 2 gen stick was rough to get to stay in.

The Carlinkit Car TV HDMI 2025 for Fire TV Stick Converter is Rather Ingenuous, the Carlin Main Unit Piggybacks onto the Fire Stick, the Power is supplied to both using a USB-C or Possible a USB-A 5VDC Power Adapter from the Cigarette Lighter Port. The USB-A Output is going to the Input Port on the Radio. The Firestick is controlled with the Factory Remote like you would during normal Home Use. We have been using the Carlinkit Car TV HDMI 2025 for Fire TV Stick Converter in our Class-B when we are stationary with no issues whatsoever. The Video Plays in Normal Time with little to no Latency at all, I would even go as far as saying that that the Fire Stick connected to the Carlinkit is more reliable than the Fire Sticks in our Home. We use the same Hotspot in all applications. I gave the Carlinkit Car TV HDMI 2025 for Fire TV Stick Converter a Full Five Star Rating Across the Board. While it does take some tinkering to get the 5V Output from the Cigarette Port to the Fire Stick arrangement, the Rest is Really Easy and Trouble Free.

I have wired apple car play with Hyundai palisade. I tried to connect this to my car and used a fire tv stick. It works right out of box and able to watch the tv on the console directly. I will be using these features on a long trips to engage the kids. I did not try updating the software and was not necessary in my case.

Stuck this right into my family's minivan and it uses the car's original USB port for power. For long road trips, it is so useful to stream movies for my kids who are always complaining about how long the drive is! Pairs flawlessly with a Fire Stick and it maintains the car's CarPlay. You can switch between the two very easily. The picture is pretty sharp, but it mainly depends on your screen. Make sure you have a solid hotspot connection because that is also a crucial component in streaming quality.

I had no idea something like this existed—it’s an absolute game-changer! It works flawlessly with my 2024 Hyundai Elantra and is a perfect addition for road trips or passing time while waiting in the car, whether during grocery runs, doctor appointments, or similar situations. The picture quality is outstanding, and after setting up WiFi on the Fire TV Stick, it’s essentially plug-and-play.

Update vom 04.03.25, mit der neuen Softwareversion 2025.01.17 ist das Bootproblem des 4K Sticks scheinbar gelöst worden, jetzt gebe ich 5 Sterne.***************************************************************************************************************************************Funktioniert grundsätzlich sehr gut. Einziges "Problem" bisher, dass man fast immer die Stromzufuhr zum FireStick 4K einmal trennen muss, damit der Stick bootet. Das ist mit der mitgelieferten, eigentlich genialen, sehr fest sitzenden USB-Brücke eher suboptimal.Aufgrund des dann natürlich dort auftretenden Verschleißes sollte man hier vorerst eine Lösung mit einem USB-C auf Mikro-USB Kabel suchen, dass man mal eben abziehen oder schalten kann. Ich hoffe das der Hersteller hier noch mit einem Software-Update Abhilfe schafft, vielleicht ist das aber auch ein Problem des 4K Sticks. Ich werde das noch einmal mit der HD-Version testen, da sowieso 1080p Maximum ist.Ansonsten besteht natürlich noch das "Problem", dass der Stick mit der zusätzlichen Stromversorgung am Zigarrettenanzünder sich fast immer ausschaltet, wenn man den Motor stoppt. Sollte man mehrere freie USB-Anschlüsse mit Dauerstrom oder eine starke PowerBank in der Nähe haben, empfiehlt es sich natürlich, diese zu nutzen.Die mitfahrenden Cineasten, die das System natürlich explizit nutzen, werden es einem sehr danken.Des Weiteren kann ich bei meiner CarPlay-Version (VAG) das zweite Gerät (Telefon) nicht in der Benutzeroberfläche aktivieren, so dass man den orginären USB-Anschluss des Adapters zur Nutzung dessen ebenfalls auch abschaltbar realisieren müsste. Es wäre schön, wenn das noch im Menü auswählbar wäre. Wen das alles nicht stört, der wird sehr zufrieden sein.Wenn das "Problem" mit dem Booten gelöst wird, gebe ich auch gerne 5 Sterne.
