Bought these to be able to use the USB connection for our baby car camera instead of the 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter port) and they work great. I like that they have the button to turn them in/off. The connection goes out briefly every now and then but I think it's the camera wiring itself and not these power cords. Would buy again!

Needed a usb alternative to the 12v charger included in two car baby cameras. Glad to report these fit perfectly for the Rohent and Grownsy brands.

My baby monitor camera for in the car was powered by the cigarette lighter. Super in the way and kind of annoying, especially since that cable was kind of short which didn't allow much cable management. This replaced it and has worked well for me. The cable is longer so I can hide it better, and since my car has multiple USB plug ins I have different options at my disposal. This was also a bit of a godsend because my husbands vehicle doesn't have a cigarette lighter in a great spot so now we can use the camera in his vehicle too.

Cable came as expected and works well if you plug it in and unplug when you don't need it anymore. I thought the switch would be handy but like other posts, the switch doesn't work well. You have to manually unplug or plug it in and don't use the switch to turn it on and off. Overall cables are well made and it plugs directly into what I need to convert it from using the 12V cigarette lighter plug to a usb A plug. Device works well with the cable and there is no lost in power. Only bad point was the switch. Overall not a big issue for me to just plug in and out but wish the switch works as it is easier than pulling and plugging usb all the time.

This worked great in my tests running a 12-volt RV light bulb off of a 5-volt USB power bank. Both 6 watt and 10 watt bulbs worked perfectly, though this adapter could not power a 15-watt mini PC I tried it with just to test its limits.This has no activity light to indicate if it is on or not, which would have been nice. The power button seems like a good idea, but almost every USB power source you could use it with will put the port to "sleep" to save power a few seconds after you switch it off, like it would for a fully charged phone or other device. After that happens pressing the power button on this can't wake the port again on its own, you have to manually unplug and stick it back in again to get the port to power back on.It works great for low-watt devices and I'm quite happy with it overall, it suits my needs fine, but if you need more than around 10 watts of power total, or having an on/off switch that works without needing to unplug this and stick it back in sometimes is important to you, then this might not do.
