The car window hammer is a pretty good tool. It is small enough to fit in the door pocket, and the bright green color makes it easy to find.

I have not actually used these, and hopefully will never have to. But I can tell that they will probably do the job when needed. The Hammer side carries most of the weight and comes to a sharp point. It feels surprisingly sharp just bouncing the tip against my palm.The mounting bracket comes with screw holes incase you want to drill it into a part of your dash, but it fits snugly in my door pocket (along with 100 napkins and ketchup packets)

These are portable and fit in my glove box. Glad to have this in my car for emergencies. Bought one for my son and his girlfriend as well. Made of good quality for the money!
