no way to tell unless I go to a junkyard to test this, but seems like it would work seen one similar to this on a social media video site and it was almost $30 for 1 and they weren’t made in the US like these are hopefully this is something I purchased and will never have to use, but it’s good to know that I have it if I ever do need it

There are several similar products available. But I like the size, color options, and QUALITY - and the price is very good, too.

Can I rate this 5 stars without an emergency use? It appears well designed and important to me that it is designed to be accessible. I have one hanging from my rear view mirror and the other on my purse. I've never been in a crash but drivers get crazier every day and I want to be prepared.

I was in an accident and used mine to get out of the seatbelt. Anyone living near water definitely needs these, but even if you don’t it’s good insurance against being trapped in your vehicle. Just pull from your keychain !

I tried testing it on soarr plastic bottle and hard paper boxes. None of the devices work. The pin does kot even come out even when you press the head down with all your strength using fingers. Upon careful inspection saw the pins seems even actually misaligned with the hole! My previous one from another company is three years old, but I think that I will stick to that one still instead of keeping these new two devices.

You never think you need something like this until you do! I plan to keep it in my center console “just in case”. I will say taking the cover off of the seatbelt cutter takes a bit of muscle.
