Nufun Car Door Step arrived nicely packaged and without damage. I did not find any part that required touchup or repair. The hook is easy to extend and the entire step feels very sturdy. Installing on the door hook while the door is open is very easy and it fits and functions exactly as described. It grips well and does not shift while in use. I was able to easily access the roof and feel comfortable while loading my kayak. This is an easy step and I am happy with how well it works. Definitely a good value for the cost!

Was this just recently invented? It's going to go viral. Super useful! I didn't even realize you could use something on the inside of almost any vehicle door that would allow you to step up on it and clean the top of your vehicle. I have a Suburban and this gave me much needed access to easier clean my vehicle. The added benefit of also having a window crasher tool on the tip of it is great too. Eliminates the need to purchase an additional thing to store in your car. Great for safety in emergency exit also. It fits firmly and securely in the door hole - see the listing photos for understanding this. You don't feel you're gonna slip off of it. There's good grip to it. Super easy to use with no assembly. You just put it in the hole the correct way and, from the running board, step up on it and ta-da, you're up there!

This is a game changer for me. I’m 5’4” and this helps me to get on top of my Jeep Wrangler. I can clean the snow off much easier now. Now climbing up, and getting in my Hammock will be a breeze. The fact that it folds down, makes storing it neatly away a plus for me. I just place them into the pocket on back of the Driver, & Passenger front seats.

I like the product, and it works well, but as a moderately tall person, ~6', it has me pretty high above the car. I have always accessed the roof box using the bottom of the doorframe, but couldn't quite reach the far end of the box comfortably. Which this I can reach the far side, but it's actually still a little uncomfortable just because of how high up I am. I'm going to keep it in the car, and I like that it includes a window smasher in case of an emergency, as I didn't have one before this, but it's just not the gamechanger I was hoping for it to be. I think I would like it more if the latch was a bit longer, but this might just be an issue because of my height. I think a shorter person might like it more.My wife was concerned about it damaging the car, and to that I have had no concern. This product says it can hold up to 400 lb and the door latch is rated for something closer to 1000 lb. I haven't found the numbers on how much the frame can handle before it dents, but I haven't felt any movement, and it doesn't seem likely to bend. For the price it's nice having around, but it's not magical.

This thing is junk. I have a $10 paper weight. For one it doesn't fit the door. It's totally at an angle when you put it on. Makes it dangerous to use it's at such an angle. My door is basically perfectly plumb. The rubber protector just falls off as well. It's more trouble than it's worth to take it to ups dropoff. It'll cost what I spent on it in gas to return it. I guess that's their hope. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Not the same one i ordered as seen in photo. This would matter alot if you ordered it for a female to big to hold it for window breaker .

I am 5'4" and reaching my roof rack on my Land Cruiser has always been a struggle. I was not sure how this would work, but it was very simple and I have to say I am impressed. There is no unnecessary stress on the door hinge which was my main concern. As a bonus there is a glass breaker attached on the tip, this now stays in my driver side door panel for easy access. Great idea!.

I recently saw one of my neighbors using a car door step, to reach their ski equipment on a taller SUV, and thought 'I need one of those'. Prior to that, I did not know such a device existed.I have a wide ski rack on my crossover. It is difficult to reach the skis or snowboard on the far side of the rack, from the ground. Previously that meant trying to balance on the bottom of the door opening on the narrow section where the car door seals against. If you lost your balance on that small perch you could either fall backwards and hurt yourself or drop your equipment damaging either your gear, your car, or both. While this step does not completely eliminate the issue, it does significantly reduce it by doing a few things well:- The step hooks to the door latch as shown, and uses the door jamb as a backstop and support to keep the step stable.- The step holds up to 400 pounds so should be good for most users- The step mounts to the latch as mentioned, so is higher up than the base of the door, which gives you the ability to reach further onto your roof while maintaining good balance- The step is not huge, at roughly 6" x 3", so does not take up a ton of space. It is wide enough for one foot to have a stable and flat spot to stand though which is adequate for my usage.- The back/hook side of the step has a plastic sleeve on it, which is what contacts your door jamb. This helps to prevent scratches to your car's paint when using the step.It might be nice, if the step was wide enough to have both feet on it at the same time, but that would at least double its size. That is not a tradeoff I would actually want, but some might feel more stable if they could stand with both feet on the step. One additional feature of this step is it has a 'glass breaker' on the front/leading edge. In the installed photo, the glass breaker is the conically shaped silver tip at the left/front side of the step.Overall, I am very happy with this step. As ski season continues, I will update my review if additional details warrant it.
