Bought two rolls of 10"x30' and they are not true to size. Both rolls are only 9.75" wide and leave a .25 space on 10" step.

I covered my stairs in anti-slip tape and used two kinds. One is 4" with a reflective strip, and yeah it's really nice to have that strip and the full 4" deep, but a windstorm came and blew nearly all of the 4" tape off. It isn't a big deal because you can glue it down or whatever you want to do, but annoying. This tape stuck like a champion. You can tell the glue is better. I understand the edge for the wind is only 1" but also the area for the glue is 1" and this thing didn't budge. Also it was -30 some degrees F, so glue isn't supposed to work great, as far as I know. If the other 4" blow off again I'll just replace with this product. A+ in my book.

This grip tape is pretty useful around a truck, especially if it's lifted even a little bit. I put some on the step board/threshold of a 4x4 truck and it makes it much easier to climb in and out without your foot slipping. Also is great for the rear bumper to get into the bed of the truck. Only concern is that the adhesive started giving up a bit easier than I'd like, especially since it being grip tape it's expected to hold. Should be fine if you put a couple strips side by side.

I didn't buy this for the usual reason but for a similar reason. My 86 year old mom uses the bathroom counter to lean on a bit as she makes her way to the toilet. She has Parkinson's and maintaining any bit of independence is important to her. 2 weeks ago her hand slid on the counter and she fell to the floor, breaking her hand as well as banging her up real good. I bought this tape to give her some friction/grip-ability as she uses her hand to guide herself. The tape is perfect for gripping. This role is not too wide. The black is very attractive with sparkles in the grip material. The tape-backing is very strong. My one complaint is that it was very, very difficult to take the paper backing off to get to the sticky part. The paper is super-thin and extremely difficult to peel off. I had to throw away two pieces that I cut because the paper partly peeled leaving a very fine layer of paper to scrape off.Overall a fine options for grip-ability where it is needed.

I have a ramp that goes to a storage shed in the backyard that gets sort of slippery when it's wet. This was the perfect solution
