Bought this device for son to check the compassator. It messured that not enough current was not coming through. Great device...very pleased

CYA Get one of these if you assemble your own PCBs. We were prototyping something at work, and I built the first few boards. When they didn't work all eyes were on me, because software never is the issue. "are you sure those 0603 capacitors which have no identifying values written on them are the correct values". Yes. "Please double check them". That's when I ordered this meter. I was right, the software was buggy. Get yourself one of these.One thing. If you drop it too hard the batteries will pop loose and you will need to open the back and re-seat them. Just add som thin foam to the battery compartment like I did.

We're all here because we didn't buy a multimeter that can test capacitors. This thing works awesome if you need a capacitor tested. If your coworker happens to never check the batteries and they corrode past the point of use, this thing has a mini USB input and will still work great from that power source.
