This meter has a level over performance of instruments that would cost thousands of dollars and weigh more than 10 Kg a decade ago. It is easy to use. It's great for testing or sorting components. Ordinary VOMs can give misleading readings. I like that it displays 2 relevant measurement values simultaneously. Note that you must use appropriate test leads or fixtures to achieve stated accuracy in some circumstances. The included connection slots for leadedd parts work well.This meter uses low frequencies for measurement. It even works at DC for measuring wide-range resistance. For RF measurements you need a VNA.. I had to trim the bump case around the charger connection so it would fit. I haven't tried the USB connection or the software. I don't plan to use it.

The performance is very satisfactory for this price range.Especially the capacitor measurement is very good.There is also a probe calibration function.

Received mine in 2 days. It powered right up (held power button for 3+ seconds). All accessories included. Had a very well written English manual. The only complaint is that the yellow cover partially obscures the USB jack. Hopefully the new Blue covers will correct that issue. Not sure if the Yellow Rubber cover performs like a Fluke, but I'm not going to throw it across the room to find out. ;)
