This is the first capture card I've ever purchased so I didn't want to spend a bunch of money, but wanted a highly-rated 4K option and this has worked out perfectly.I literally plugged it in, ran a cable to my camera and it worked instantly. Very happy with my purchase.

This works as advertised with no issues. Simply plug your external camera HDMI output into it, plug it into your computer, and it will recognize your camera as a webcam. I use mine with a Sony A7riii.

The capture quality of this USB plug in device is very good. It provides solid performance when use with my Nikon Z30 camera and works very well maintaining a quality image for MS Teams, Zoom and other real time capture requirements. It occasionally will time out or fall asleep, requiring the user to unplug and plug back in the product, but this has never happened during usage, just when the computer has been left alone to go in and out of sleep modes one must occasionally reset the capture device by unplugging and plugging it back in. Overall a solid performing device.

I use this with OBS, and it worked with my Sony AX53 camera at 1080p 50fps without dropping any frames. I know it's supposed to be able to handle 4K, but I have not tested that due to other hardware limitations. If you want a smooth capture card for a 1080p camera, this will do the job nicely.

I've been using both a built-in camera and Logitech webcam for the past two years for both online work meetings and online games. When I started streaming some of my games on Twitch, I wanted the best equipment for my content creation. The Cam Link is plug-and-play, it works fine on my laptop and gaming setup.The video image through the Cam Link looks really good, especially when I use a low-aperture lens to blur my background in-camera. I suggest checking your camera settings to make sure that it doesn't shut down during a longer session (this has to do with the camera, not the Cam Link). I ran a four-hour game and didn't run into any issues while using the Cam Link.I chose to give the Cam Link five stars because the Cam Link itself is plug-and-play, and the company maintains useful information on its website. This exceeds my expectations from both set up and effectiveness, and it even works with my dinosaur of a computer. It may seem pricey, but I find the support and the ease-of-use make it worth the cost.

Purchased that capture dongle for some lightboard tutorials sessions at work, we produce e-learning content. This dongle plugged in my laptop and connected flawlessly to Open Broadcaster Studio, working as intended. Capture was smooth, no dropped frames, quality of capture is good - but it could be a bit better, maybe I need to tweak some settings in OBS, but it does not come as clean as our camera recordings (Canon C100mkII feeding into the dongle). Still, for our intended purpose (chromakeying live feed), it works great!Note that......the dongle is FAT, it will eat any ports aside of itself, so it's something to consider if you plug it on a laptop with limited USB ports for instance....the dongle can get hot under continuous use. Not burning hot, but very warm nevertheless, so longevity may be an issue. Will update the review if the unit craps out early....we haven't tested yet with 4K input (the Canon C100mkII is a 1080p camera).Otherwise, definitely recommended for the price, just make sure you adjust your expectations with the dongle's price.

Nothing but good things to say thus far on this product. Wanted to connect my DSLR to my laptop for streaming and this was the ticket. Affordable, but most importantly reliable and so far no hiccups after multiple uses. As a bonus, it is able to connect with Linux laptop seamlessly.

I got this device because I could not stream my Nintendo Switch to popular social media apps. It was straightforward to set up and I was up and running on my OBS streaming app in no time. Now I am streaming my games with no problem. I would highly recommend this product to my fellow streamers new or seasoned.

I am really happy with my EZ Cap Cam Link. It worked as soon as I plugged it in, no fuss..no drivers, no drama. OBS saw it right away and the picture and performance are terrific. I have a Canon M50 MK2 plugged in and it looks great at 1080 and 4K, the colors and clarity of this little unit are superb! Highly recommend this one.

I was in desperate need for a better webcam. I was looking for the best option and stumbled on a solution of using my existing Sony DSLR as a webcam. The most expensive piece to that solution was a digital capture card. The main option in the field was pretty pricey. I decided to take a chance on a less expensive option with this this card. Well, it has worked flawlessly and the Sony camera as a webcam has exceeded my expectations. Great card to use to turn your DSLR into a super high res webcam.

Doesn't work with any camera I have. Cheap capture card at premium price. Don't do it! I brought an Elgato instead, worked first time perfectly.

I wanted to use my canon M50 as a webcam, and this product worked well. I tried canon's free software, and I had a lot of issues with it, plus it only works with certain programs so I needed a capture card. I'm happy with the picture quality and color. The build quality feels very light and like a cheap plastic, but I don't use this product a lot and don't need it to last forever so it's fine for my needs. I wish it came with a little extension cable so that it wouldn't wear out the connection every time you nudged it. I ended up buying a cable to go with it so that it could bend and move a little. Overall, for $60, I'm happy with the purchase. It's a good middle-of-the-road capture card, not super cheap nor super expensive. Perfect for people who don't need a capture card for professional use, but would still like better quality than the $20 ones. There is no special software you need to download. It's basically plug and play.

Sinceramente tenía pocas espectativas sobre el producto, hay tanto en el mercado que promete pero no cumplen que ya me estaba fastidiando. El camlink delgato super caro y ni un sustituto hasta este momento. El producto me SORPRENDIÓ de verdad es tal y como se describe. Puede capturar en 4k. Personalmente yo lo uso en 1080 a 60fps y si los entrega 100%. La captura es buena, la uso en una Sony A5100 y va de lujo. Es excelente y apenas se calienta.Si vas a invertir dinero en stream es mejor ahorrar un poco más e irse por esta opción 👍¡Super Recomendado!
