I’ve been getting into singing the past year and a half and finally got myself a mic stand for my piano. I didn’t expect much but this item is pretty good at doing its job

Got this to replace a floor stand that I didn’t like. Works great up to two thirds of the cross bar, more than other stands in the same price range. Lots of flexibility to set the mic up exactly how you need it. Heavy base keeps from tipping and pads on bottom keep any movement quiet and isn’t picked up on the mic

I ordered this product to hold a medium-quality gaming-style mic. The price point seemed great, and indeed, the product itself appears to be quite solid and well-made, with metal base, and vertical and boom arms. Unfortunately the set screw that was meant to hold the boom arm in place was about 1 cm too short, and thus could not do its job. This made the boom arm useless, and the product of no use to me, so I had to send it back. I did not attempt to contact the manufacturer because in my experience, a company that can make such a silly error either in design, manufacturing, or shipping is not trustworthy. I'll buy the same style item elsewhere. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because fundamentally the product seems of decent quality, and maybe the company can figure out how to get a functioning model into the customer's hands all the time, instead of just usually.

This small desktop boom mic does the basic job of holding up a microphone without taking up too much space. However, if you fully extend the boom (which is not actually that far) the whole thing topples over. I bought this so I could have a dedicated mic set up in the closet, so I wound up securing it to the shelf with 3M strips. Maybe not ideal, but functional.

The plastic and metal feel cheap. But more importantly, it tips over if it is at all extended! And even when it's not extended, it's ready to tip over with one touch. :( For reference, I had the Shure MV7X podcast mic hooked up to it.

I added an ankle weight to the base so that it would tip over when using the boom with more extension. That works well. Great quality.
